The film was directed by Alain Gagnol and Jean-Loup Felicioli.
A Cat in Paris was first screened on 15 October 2010 at the Saint-Quentin Ciné-Jeune Film Festival. It was released in French theaters on 15 December 2010. International distribution is by Films Distribution, Paris.
The film was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Along with Chico and Rita, it became one of two foreign-language films nominated for Best Animated Feature in one year, an Academy first that many observers considered a surprise. The film has also received a nomination for the Cesar Award for Best Animated Film in 2011.
Synopsis
Nico is a burglar who sneaks into buildings and steals jewels. Nico is always followed by a black cat. The following morning, the cat wakes in a house with a little girl, catches a lizard and gives it to the girl. Zoé, hearing Jeanne, her mother, calls her to come in and look at her lizards, but Jeanne is too busy on the phone to take much notice of what she is shown. At nightfall, the cat leaves and goes to find Nico.Actors

Alors que les insectes font leur récoltes d'hiver, la colonie de fourmis noires des bois se rend dans une épicerie pour y chaparder une boîte de sucre. Mais elles se font attaquer par les fourmis rouges. Dépassée par la situation, l'une d'elles décide de faire appel à son ami la coccinelle pour leur venir en aide. Dans la bataille, le fils de la coccinelle, qui l'a suivi, tombe accidentellement dans un carton à destination de la Guadeloupe. Le père parvient à suivre le paquet et à prendre le même avion. Les deux coccinelles vont se retrouver confrontées à tous les dangers de cet environnement tropical qu'elles ne connaissent pas. Dans le même temps, la fourmi noire va tout mettre en oeuvre pour ramener son amie à la maison.

Prince Charming vows that he will become King of Far, Far Away and avenge the death of his mother, the Fairy Godmother. A dog named Bolt (John Travolta) and a girl named Penny (Miley Cyrus) star on a hit television series called Bolt in which the titular character has various superpowers and must constantly thwart the evil plans of the nefarious Doctor Calico (Malcolm McDowell). To gain a more realistic performance, the TV show's producers have deceived Bolt his entire life, arranging the filming in such a way that Bolt believes the television show is real and he really has superpowers, including a powerful sonic scream-like "superbark". Mistakenly believing Penny has been kidnapped by the villain, Bolt escapes from his on-set trailer in Hollywood but falls into a box of foam peanuts and unknown to the film company is accidentally shipped to New York City. In New York, Bolt starts to notice that his "superpowers" aren't working, and rationalizes this is the effect that styrofoam has on his body. He then meets Mittens (Susie Essman), a female alley cat who bullies pigeons out of their food. Bolt forces Mittens to help him get back to Hollywood, and after Bolt knocks Mittens unconscious the two start their journey westward on a truck. In Hollywood, Penny is deeply saddened over Bolt's disappearance but is convinced by the studio to continue filming with a Bolt lookalike.

Puss in Boots is a talking cat named for his wearing boots and is a fugitive on the run from the law, looking to restore his lost honour. He learns that the outlaw couple Jack and Jill have the magic beans he's been looking for most of his life, beans that can lead him to a giant's castle holding valuable golden goose eggs. When Puss tries to steal them from the outlaws' room, female cat Kitty Softpaws interrupts, and both fail. Kitty is allied with Humpty Alexander Dumpty, a talking egg and Puss' long-estranged childhood friend from the orphanage where he was raised. Puss tells Kitty his origin story and of his feelings of betrayal for a youthful misadventure when Humpty tricked Puss into helping commit a bank robbery in his hometown of San Ricardo; Puss has been on the run since. Humpty convinces Puss to join them in finding the beans and retrieving the golden eggs.

The film takes place in the Jewish community of Algeria during the 1920s. One day a Rabbi finds that his talking parrot, which is very noisy, has been eaten by his cat and that the cat has gained the ability to speak in human tongues. However, the Rabbi finds that the cat is very rude and arrogant, so the rabbi teaches the cat about the Torah, with the cat deciding that if he is Jewish then he should receive a bar mitzvah, leading the two to consult with the rabbi's rabbi. The cat proceeds to mock and insult the rabbi's rabbi's strict views, who declares that the cat should be killed for its heresy. The rabbi takes his cat and leaves, mad at the cat for making a fool of his master, but the two eventually reach an agreement where the rabbi will teach the cat all about the Torah, and that someday he might have his bar mitzvah when he is ready.
