Alles is Liefde (English: Love is All) is a 2007 Dutch romantic comedy film directed by Joram Lürsen, and starring Carice van Houten, Paul de Leeuw, Wendy van Dijk, and Daan Schuurmans.

Synopsis

The actor who annually plays Sinterklaas dies just before the arrival of television crew. A mysterious new Sinterklaas named Jan (Michiel Romeyn) replaces him. Just a short while after his public appearance, he jumps into water to save a little girl who falls into it, and then he runs away from the crowd and disappears. He is found by the production assistant of the television show next day, and agrees to appear in television shows on knowing that playing Sinterklaas is a paid job. He becomes quite popular on television because of his alternative style.

Le Banquier de la Résistance est basé sur l'histoire vraie du banquier néerlandais Walraven van Hall (Barry Atsma) sous l'occupation nazie. Il décide de financer la résistance néerlandaise par la création d'une banque parallèle. Walraven van Hall utilise le prétexte d'un fonds de bienfaisance créé pour aider les marins néerlandais bloqués à l'étranger par la guerre afin de blanchir de l'argent à l'intérieur de la banque dans laquelle il travaille. It is graduation day at the high school in Twente. To celebrate the end of high school, Hans Nijboer (played by Cas Jansen) invites all of his friends on a boat trip to Majorca, Spain. The boat is owned by his older brother Ties (played by Daan Schuurmans), who broke his connection with their father. Once the friends have all come aboard the boat, they start for Majorca. While they are sailing to their destination, a police boat drops off another high school student, Treesje (played by Georgina Verbaan), a goth girl who is not friends with anyone on the boat.

The film is a depiction of the life of Ingrid Jonker (1933–65) (played by Van Houten), an Afrikaner. Her mother has died in a mental hospital, she lives with her sister at her grandmother's. After the passing of her grandmother Ingrid and her sister come to live with their father Abraham (played by Hauer), who treats them as outsiders. Ingrid marries, and gives birth to a daughter, but the marriage does not last. It is the era of apartheid, of which her father is a strong proponent, being South Africa's Minister of Censorship. Ingrid is opposed to the apartheid regime, and has a strained relationship with her father. He opposes her relationship with author Jack Cope (played by Cunningham) and her anti-apartheid poetry, which is inciteful in his eyes. He would like to ban one of her works but doesn't, fearing a widespread riot.
