Amy (promoted as Amy - The Girl Behind The Name) is a 2015 British documentary film that depicts the life and death of singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse and is directed by Asif Kapadia. The film is produced by Universal Music, Playmaker Films & Krishwerkz Entertainment and distributed by the Altitude Film Distribution. The film was released theatrically on 3 July 2015 in the United Kingdom and in the United States, before being released worldwide on 10 July. The film depicts Winehouse's life largely from the standpoint of her struggle with substance abuse problems both before and after her career began to blossom, and which eventually caused her premature death.

On 8 February 2015, a teaser trailer based on the life of Amy Winehouse debuted at the pre-Grammy event in the build-up to the 2015 Grammy Awards, and it was announced that the documentary entitled simply as Amy would be released in cinemas later in the Summer of 2015, according to David Joseph, CEO of Universal Music UK. He further stated: "About two years ago we decided to make a movie about her—her career and her life. It's a very complicated and tender movie. It tackles lots of things about family and media, fame, addiction, but most importantly, it captures the very heart of what she was about, which is an amazing person and a true musical genius."

The film was selected to be shown in the Midnight Screenings section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and received its UK premiere at the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

The Maestro (Michael Jackson) lives alone in a creepy-looking mansion on top of a hill, overlooking the town of "Normal Valley". Occasionally, he entertains the local children with scary magic tricks. One of the children tells his mother, who alerts the Mayor (also Michael Jackson). The children assure the parents that the Maestro has done nothing wrong, and ask that they leave him alone. But the mayor remarks, "He's a weirdo. There's no place in this town for weirdos.
