Synopsis
Mária (Alexandra Borbély), nouvelle responsable du contrôle de qualité d'un abattoir, très rigoureuse et au comportement autistique, et le directeur financier Endre (Géza Morcsányi), au tempérament réservé et dont la main gauche est paralysée, sont chaque nuit dans un rêve partagé, sous forme d'un cerf et d'une biche qui font connaissance dans un paysage enneigé. Ils ne s'en rendent compte que lorsqu'une psychologue de l'entreprise en entend parler par chacun d'eux indépendamment et croit qu'ils se moquent d'elle. Mais ils n'arrivent pas bien à trouver l'un dans l'autre l'amour qu'ils connaissent déjà en tant que cerf et biche.Actors

In the year 2092, Nemo Nobody is a 117-year-old man, the last mortal on Earth. Humanity has conquered mortality through the endless renewal of cells, living in a shining future accompanied by their stem cell compatible pigs. The world watches in fascination as Mr. Nobody edges towards death, curious to know of life before quasi-immortality. Nemo says that he remembers nothing about his past and a psychiatrist, Dr. Feldheim, tries to make him recall memories through hypnosis while other memories are told to a journalist. Nemo spits out contradictory pieces as he is prodded, and no one is sure what happened and what did not. He is an enigma, often thinking that he is only 34 years old with no traceable record of his life. He recounts his life at three primary points: at age nine when his parents divorce, at age fifteen when he fell in love, and at age thirty-four as an adult. All three unfold into their many possible outcomes.

A series of newspaper articles details the 1949 murder of pianist Margaret Strauss (Emma Thompson), who was stabbed with a pair of antique scissors during an apparent robbery. An anklet worth thousands of dollars is missing. Her husband, composer Roman Strauss (Kenneth Branagh), is found guilty of the crime and sentenced to death. Louise, jeune veuve arboricultrice de la Drôme en difficultés financières, heurte dans un accident de voiture un homme qui marche sur un chemin de terre. Étrange personnage filiforme, dégingandé et rigide dans son immuable costume, au franc-parler et au débit vocal rapide et mécanique, il refuse d'être soigné et ne supporte pas qu'on le touche. Louise découvre peu à peu que Pierre est un autiste Asperger plein de tics et d'angoisses, mais également un redoutable observateur et calculateur prodige qui analyse tout à l'aide de son ordinateur. Pierre s'adapte très vite à Louise et à son environnement, et s'installe chez elle contre son gré. Tout d'abord perplexes, les deux enfants de Louise s'attachent à lui et font tout pour que le jeune homme reste à la maison. Louise est bouleversée quand elle apprend que son nouveau colocataire est menacé d'internement psychiatrique suite à des démélés judiciaires. Par ailleurs, ses compétences scientifiques et techniques la sauvent à plusieurs reprises de la ruine. Elle hésite longuement à l'accepter dans sa vie.

Will Francis (Jude Law), a young Englishman, is a landscape architect living a detached, routine-based life in London with his Swedish-American girlfriend Liv (Robin Wright Penn) and her autistic daughter Bea. Clara, (Sylvie Testud), works in a birdshop. She is concerned about her deaf-mute daughter Anna, (Camille Gauthier), whom she is bringing up on her own. She has never spoken a single word. Clara herself is illiterate. Ever since her grandmother Baba, whom she adored, had been the victim of an attack when she was reading her a story, she has always refused to learn to read and write.
