Face to Face (Italian: Faccia a faccia, Spanish title: Cara a cara) is a 1967 Italian spaghetti western film written and directed by Sergio Sollima. The film stars Gian Maria Volonté and Tomas Milian, and features a musical score by Ennio Morricone.
Face to Face is the second of Sollima's three westerns, following The Big Gundown and predating Run, Man, Run, a sequel to the former. Milian stars in a lead role in all three films.
Synopsis
Professor Brad Fletcher (Volontè), a teacher from New England, leaves his job and travels to Texas due to his ill health. After arriving in the west, he ends up taken hostage by a wounded outlaw, Solomon "Beauregard" Bennet (Milian). Fletcher helps Bennet regain his health and manages to convince Bennet that he is more valuable to him alive than dead. Through their uneasy friendship, Fletcher takes an interest in the outlaw way of life. Instead of returning home, he decides to join the "Bennet's Raiders".Actors

The Man with No Name—"Monco"/"Manco"— and Colonel Douglas Mortimer—the "Man in Black"—are two bounty hunters in pursuit of "El Indio," one of the most wanted fugitives in the Wild West, and his gang. El Indio is ruthless, clever, and brutal. He has a musical pocketwatch that he plays before engaging in gun duels: "When the chimes finish, begin," he says. When Cuchillo returns to his hometown in Mexico he soon finds himself in prison, sharing a cell with desperado Ramirez. Thus he's present when Ramirez breaks out. He accompanies his new buddy who is killed little later by bandits. Cuchillo learns that Ramirez once rode with Benito Juárez. The killers believe Ramirez knew the whereabouts of a 3 million dollars hidden by Juarez. Now that Ramirez is dead they presume he has bequeathed his secret to Cuchillo. During the Mexican Revolution, a peasant named El Vasco (Milian) starts a revolt in his town by killing the army colonel in charge. Rebel leader and self-appointed General Mongo (Bódalo) soon arrives on the scene and hires El Vasco to his revolutionary gang. However, Mongo is more interested in gaining fortune for himself than for his country. Yodlaf Peterson (Nero), a Swedish mercenary arrives in Mexico to sell guns to General Mongo.
