Synopsis
Sofie (Carice van Houten) and Daan (Jelka van Houten) are twin sisters who were raised by two fathers (Paul Case and Jaap Spijkers). When they get a phone call from America that their biological mother (Holly Hunter) is in a hospital with a complicated leg fracture awaiting transfer to a rehabilitation center, the two end up in an adventure where everything they believed in is called into question. This results in an unforgettable journey to New Mexico with the strange and inappropriate Jackie where the lives of the two sisters will change forever.Actors

The film revolves around three characters who work in television news. Jane Craig (Hunter) is a talented, neurotic producer whose life revolves around her work. Lamb Mannerhelm (Julianne Hough) goes to speak at her family's church in Montana one year after surviving a plane crash, which has left her with severe burns all over her body. While everyone is expecting her to make some big announcement, she instead publicly denounces her belief in God, causing a major uproar in the church. Lamb later explains some of the strict rules she has to live by in her conservative town, like listening only to Christian music, and not being allowed to wear pants. Feeling both angry and inexperienced in life, Lamb heads to Las Vegas to indulge in the sinful pleasures that are objected in her community as she sees surviving the plane crash as a second chance at life and time for her to now live life on her own terms. Judith Moore had what she thought was a perfect marriage, with both she and her husband studying to be doctors.
