It is the first sequel to the 1989 film Kickboxer, and stars Sasha Mitchell in the role of David Sloane, the brother of Kickboxer 's lead character Kurt, portrayed by Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Synopsis
It is one year after the events of the first film. It is revealed that kickboxing brothers Kurt and Eric Sloane have been killed by Tong Po in Thailand. David Sloane (Mitchell), the youngest and last surviving brother, struggles to keep the family kickboxing gym afloat. Although his will to compete has waned since the loss of his brothers, financial problems eventually force Sloane to fight again in a new organization run by a crooked promoter. His surprising comeback ultimately attracts the attention of Po (Qissi) who, having been defeated by Kurt, seeks to defeat David in the ring and regain his honor. But when Sloane announces his retirement after the bout, Po's manager Sanga (Tagawa) hires a group of thugs to burn down the gym, injuring Sloane and killing one of his young students.Actors

The film opens with a recap of earlier events in the series, as David Sloan writes a letter to his wife, Vicky. Brick Bardo (Thom Mathews) is out to avenge the death of his brother, who was set up in a scandal involving illegal fight fixing in a kickboxing circuit and was killed before he could expose the true culprits. Along with his vicious femme fatale Max (Marianne Taylor), he manages to track down four former fighters who were involved in the scandal and had sufficient motive to want his brother dead: janitor and father, Billy Munoz (Benny "The Jet" Urquidez); Connie Angel (Hope Marie Carlton); arrogant and brash Brent Caldwell (Dale Jacoby); and powerhouse, Mike Johnson (Thunderwolf). He has them drugged, kidnapped and brought to an empty fighting arena where he plans to fight them all to the death in front of each other until either one of them kills him or one of them is revealed as his brother's murderer. As Brick engages each of them in one on one combat, it becomes clear that not everything is what it seems and not everyone is as innocent as they claim to be.

The cyborg Gabriel was created to destroy all other cyborgs. He later rescues Nea by killing the cyborg Simon. Gabriel trains Nea to become a cyborg killer and help him. They continue to kill cyborgs until Gabriel is torn in half by one of his targets and taken to the cyborg camp. Nea follows Jacob and challenges the cyborg leader Job to a fight. Finding Gabriel she straps him to her back and they battle cyborgs until Gabriel can attach a dead cyborg's legs to himself. They pursue Job, but before they can catch him the Master Builder captures Nea's brother, taking him to Cyborg City. During a battle Job tells Gabriel that the cyborg population can't be stopped. Job dies moments later. Gabriel and Nea ride off in search of her brother.

The story centers around Max Havoc (Mickey Hardt), an ex-kickboxing champion known as "Mad Max", turned globetrotting sports photographer. Max quit kickboxing after accidentally killing a fellow boxer during an unlikely comeback in the ring, but still suffers from flashbacks to the fight. After a bar scuffle over a biker girl (Nikki Ziering), his agent (Diego Walraff) sends him to Guam for a publicity photo shoot. There, Max encounters Tahsi (Richard Roundtree), his former kickboxing coach, now an antiques dealer, and promises to catch up with him later. While photographing an outrigger canoe race from a jet ski, Max rescues Christy Goody (Tawney Sablan), a vacationer who was about to be unwittingly run over by the canoes. In the process, he knocks over one of the canoes, earning the wrath its head rower, Moko (Pyun veteran Vincent Klyn). He is also admonished by Jane (Joanna Krupa), Christy's sister, for his brazen driving. However, she later apologizes and agrees to a dinner date.

Kurt Sloane (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is the cornerman for his brother Eric (Dennis Alexio), an American kickboxing champion. Kurt and Eric travel to Bangkok to challenge Tong Po (Michel Qissi), Thailand's undefeated champion. After a brutal first round, Kurt realizes that they are outmatched by Tong Po and tries to convince his brother to stop the fight. Unwilling to give up, Eric returns for the second round and continues to take a vicious beating, finally prompting Kurt to throw in the towel. Tong Po ignores him and continues the assault, which ultimately leaves Eric paralyzed from the waist down. Eric is then carried outside and left on the street without any help, until Winston Taylor (Haskell Anderson), a retired US Army special forces member, intervenes and agrees to take the brothers to the hospital. After several hours of surgery, the doctor informs Kurt that Eric will never walk again.
