Kiss Them for Me is a 1957 comedy film directed by Stanley Donen, and released by the Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation. The film, an adaptation of the 1945 Broadway play of the same name, features Cary Grant, Jayne Mansfield, Ray Walston, Suzy Parker, Werner Klemperer, Leif Erickson, and Larry Blyden.

Synopsis

Three decorated Navy pilots finagle a four-day leave in San Francisco. They land a posh suite at a hotel where Commander Andy Crewson (Cary Grant), a master of procurement, arranges to populate it with wine, women and song.

Reggie is given her husband's travel bag, containing a letter addressed to her, a ticket to Venezuela, passports in multiple names, and other items. At the funeral, three odd characters show up to view the body. One sticks the corpse with a pin and another places a mirror in front of the body's mouth and nose, both to verify that Charles is really dead.

In old Baghdad, an impoverished poet goes to the marketplace to sell his rhymes for food. Because the Poet has set up shop in a spot usually reserved for a man named Hajj, some men kidnap the Poet and take him to the desert tent of Jawan, an elderly thief. Jawan, assuming that the Poet is Hajj, orders him to reverse the curse Hajj put on him fifteen years ago, which led to the kidnapping of Jawan's beloved son. The Poet asks for one hundred gold pieces to reverse the curse; Jawan agrees, and returns to Baghdad to look for his son.
