Synopsis
Ravissante jeune avocate, Emily Parker fait la connaissance de Billy Hytner. Le coup de foudre est immédiat. Très vite, Billy la demande en mariage et lui offre une alliance ancienne pour lui témoigner son engagement. Mais dès qu'Emily porte l'anneau, d'étranges événements se produisent : une jeune femme lui apparaît, qui prétend avoir été assassinée. Après plusieurs manifestations étranges, Emily se rend chez l'antiquaire et apprend que le bijou appartenait à Marie Salinger, morte 35 ans plus tôt. Convaincue que Marie essaie d'entrer en contact avec elle, Emily entreprend d'élucider les circonstances de son décès, mais se retrouve bientôt empêtrée dans une situation dangereuse.Actors

Alison Parker, a beautiful but severely neurotic fashion model (Raines) moves into a gorgeous Brooklyn brownstone house that has been divided into apartments. The house is inhabited on the top floor by Father Halliran (John Carradine), a reclusive blind priest who spends all of his time sitting at his open window. Alison begins having strange physical problems, including insomnia, and has some terrifying flashbacks of her attempted suicide. She complains to the real estate agent of the noise caused by her strange neighbors, only to be told that the house is occupied only by the priest and herself. Stephen and his daughter Justine run from a wireless internet ghost of Michelle, Stephen's late wife. The father and daughter stay at Stephen's cabin, away from the city. A short while after they get there, Stephen's girlfriend Marta arrives. The body of a teenager named Jamie Marks, a boy nobody really knew or interacted with except occasionally to bully, is found by the river. In 1975 Spain, a young girl named Laura is given up for adoption. Years later, adult Laura (Rueda) returns to the closed orphanage, accompanied by her husband, Carlos (Cayo), and their seven-year-old adopted son, Simón (Príncep). She plans to reopen the orphanage as a facility for disabled children. Simón claims to see a boy named Tomás (Óscar Casas). He befriends Tomás and draws pictures of him as a child wearing a sack mask. Social worker Benigna Escobedo (Montserrat Carulla) informs Laura that Simón's adoption file indicates that Simón is HIV positive. Incensed at Benigna's intrusion, Laura asks her to leave. She later finds Benigna in the orphanage's coal shed, but Benigna flees the scene. Later, Simón teaches Laura a game which grants its winner a wish. Clues lead the two to Simón's adoption file. Simón becomes angry, and says that his new friend told him that Laura is not his biological mother and that he is going to die soon.
