Synopsis
Dans les années 1980, des prêtres et notamment le Père Geoghan, sont arrêtés pour des actes d'abus sexuels sur des enfants mineurs. Le Cardinal Law, fut lui aussi accusé ainsi que le diocèse. Le Cardinal Law était au courant des agissements de ces hommes d'église, mais il garda le secret pendant des années, jusqu'à ce qu'un petit groupe de victimes décident de demander justice et réparation, lançant ainsi une spirale de plaintes de victimes alors inconnues. Mitchell Garabedian, un avocat obstiné et tenace, décide de les aider à demander justice envers et contre tous, révélant ainsi aux médias et au monde le plus gros scandale impliquant l'église.Actors

The Rolf family takes a summer-long vacation at a large, shabby neo-classical 19th-century mansion in the California countryside. The family consists of Marian (Karen Black), her husband Ben (Oliver Reed), their twelve-year-old son Davey (Lee H. Montgomery), and Ben's elderly Aunt Elizabeth (Bette Davis). The owners of the house are the Allardyce siblings, Arnold and Roz (Burgess Meredith and Eileen Heckart); there is also a caretaker called Walker. The Allardyces inform the Rolfs of a particularly odd requirement for their rental: their mother will continue to live in her upstairs room, and the Rolfs are to provide her with meals during their stay. The siblings explain that the old woman is obsessed with privacy and will not interact with them, so meals are to be left outside her door. Marian eagerly accepts this task, having already succumbed to the allure of the ornate house and its period decor. She becomes obsessed with caring for the home, begins to dress as if she is from the Victorian age, and distances herself from her family. Of particular interest to her is a room near the bedroom of Mrs. Allardyce, which contains collections of framed portraits of people from different eras and a music box.

"Bistritz, Hungary May 1897": natives in Transylvania seem afraid when they learn solicitor Jonathan Harker is going to Castle Dracula. Jonathan shows up, and finds the Count abrupt and impatient to get things done. He reacts very strongly to a photograph of Harker's fiancée Mina and her best friend Lucy. After rescuing Harker from the Brides, he forces Harker to write a letter saying that he will be staying in Transylvania for a month. Harker climbs down the castle wall and finds Dracula's coffin, but is attacked and knocked out by one of Dracula's gypsy servants before he can stake Dracula. They later throw him in the lower levels of the crypt, where the Brides attack Harker.

It's the summer of 1937 in Bridgeport, Connecticut and 12-year-old Daniel Cooper (Chris Petersen) along with his 10-year-old sister Sarah (Katy Kurtzman) are looking forward to summer vacation, most particularly, the annual 4th of July festivities. It's the summer of 1938 in Bridgeport, Connecticut and Jewish 13-year-old, Daniel Cooper (now portrayed by Ronnie Scribner) finds himself tangling with the bigoted playground bully, Freddy Landauer (David Baron).
