Starring Venkatesh, Twinkle Khanna in lead roles and music composed by Mani Sharma is the highlight of the film. The film is remake from a 1998 Tamil movie Sollamale. The film recorded as flop at box office. This was later remade into Hindi as Pyaar Diwana Hota Hai. The Performance of Venkatesh was acclaimed, and made a mark on his future films. This is the only Telugu film of Twinkle Khanna till date.
Synopsis
Seenu (Venkatesh) is an honest, not-too-good-looking, village artist who comes to the city to find a job. He ends up being a banner artist. Shwetha (Twinkle Khanna) is a U.S. citizen, who loves India and its culture and stays with her relatives to learn Bharatanatyam. She is a soft natured, loving girl who loves to help people in distress but cannot stand it if anyone lies or cheats. Initially when these two meet, she mistakes Seenu to be a mute and pities him. Swetha's occasional friendlier association with Seenu, in the means of helping, gradually blossoms into love. By this time, it is too late for the guilt-ridden Seenu to disclose the truth as he feared the risk of losing her. Despite all his efforts to reveal the truth, Swetha comes to know of his sham by herself. However at the end she realises Seenu's true intentions for acting as a mute and forgives him. However at the climax, when Swetha asks Seenu to speak to her, he keeps silent because he had asked a doctor to cut his tongue so that he could be the Swetha had come to love.Actors

Aravind (Bharath) had met with a terrible accident seven months ago, that left him physically and emotionally scarred. He is currently living with his elder brother Gopal (Santhanam) and being treated for some psychotic disorder. Aravind claims that during the accident, his girlfriend Liyana (Mrithika) was with him and she died in his arms. The strange thing is that such a girl does not seem to exist at all. No one has seen or even heard of her; she does not appear in the student list in her college or even the census reports. She is not mentioned in the newspaper reports of the accident either and some strangers are occupying her home. The psychiatrist is of the opinion that Liyana is a figment of Aravind’s imagination and exists only in his mind. Unable to convince even Gopal of her existence, Aravind tries to get on with his life by going back to work. Here he meets Manjari (Erica Fernandes), a colleague (in a software company Paayal Infotech which is owned by CEO Sudesh Berry), who sympathises with him and also tries to help find some clue to Liyana’s identity. Despite all evidence against Liyana’s existence, memories of her and their love continue to haunt Aravind. Fortunately for him, a chance meeting with Liyana’s aunt sets the ball rolling (Aravind obtains all the information from Liyana's aunty who is not really her aunty but instead pretended to be, she gets killed by a goon who is killed by in a few seconds). After that things begin to unravel, Aravind finds out that he is being tortured by his own company boss (Sudesh). Reason for doing this is that Liyana happens to be splitting image of Sudesh's own dead lover called Payal so inorder to marry her, Sudesh made a plan to torture Aravind by involving Manjari in this game, Gopal gets killed in this mayhem. Aravind shoots Manjari and henchmen. Sudesh narrates that doctor was a fake person set up by him to fool Aravind and also threatened his brother Gopal to pretend ignorance about Liyana. Doctor tortures Aravind with a planned shock treatment to make him go insane but he is completely healthy and kills the doctor. He kills Sudesh and henchmen and unites with Liyana who is alive.

Srikanth and Sriram are best friends. Srikanth is the only son of Radhika and Raghuvaran who is interested in anything but his academics. Pawan Kalyan (Pawan Kalyan) is a careless and spoiled brat of a rich man Muddu Krishnayya (Kota Srinivasa Rao). Kalyan has every weakness that a rich and careless youth can have, and Baburao (Sudhakar) helps him in all his activities. Once, Kalyan and his friend/employee Bhaskar (Harish) attend a function, where Kalyan spots Sirisha (Raasi) singing on stage, and is impressed by her beauty and tries to woo her but doesn't succeed. At the same time Bhaskar too is impressed by her and expresses his love to her, but is rejected by Sirisha. A disheartened Bhaskar tries to commit suicide but is saved. Sirisha accepts his love and leaves to see her mother to seek her blessings for marriage. But her mother plans something else for her. She tries to marry her off with her cousin Sriram (Achyuth). Sirisha writes a letter to Bhaksar to take her away and save her from this marriage. Kalyan is shocked, when he knows that Bhaskar is trying to marry the same Sirisha, who rejected his offer, but agrees to bring her. Kalyan manages to bring Sirisha to Bhaskar’s house, but Bhaskar’s parents oppose this marriage by insulting Sirisha. Kalyan loses his temper and hits Bhaskar’s father adding fuel to fire. A disheartened Sirisha leaves their house, but is saved by Kalyan and taken to his house. His father Muddu Krishnayya and servant, Malli (Mallikarjuna Rao) suspect their relationship, and this suspicion spreads in Kalyan’s friends circle. Sirisha accuses Kalyan of all this rumors and this brings about a change in Kalyan’s attitude towards woman and his life. He decides to marry Sirisha and asks his father to help him in this regard. But his father insults her and she leaves their house and returns to her mother. Kalyan, after learning his father’s mistake, reaches Sirisha’s house, but is discouraged by her cousin and mother. He goes on a hunger strike till she accepts his love. In the end Muddu Krishnayya apologises for his mistake and unites the lovers.
