Synopsis
In Taipei, a team of ghost hunters pay a freelance camera man to photograph places looking for paranormal activity. From the sounds of things, previous attempts have been unsuccessful. The camera man is taking his pictures and this time captures a picture of a boy in a seemingly empty room. The team of ghost hunters are thrilled and take it upon themselves to further investigate.Actors

The movie begins with a young woman, who attended a wedding party held in a hotel and became drunk, waking up in one of the hotel rooms; only to realize in horror that her kidney has been surgically removed. Socialite Ching (Angelica Lee), who also attended the party, identified Ling (Karena Lam) as the prime suspect because she found out that Ling was the only stranger presented in the ball room. She is unknown to everyone in the party, even to the hotel staff. During the police investigation, Ching discovers that Ling has been secretly involved with her boyfriend Wai (Andy Hui Chi-On), and this is the very reason why she was in the hotel when the crime was committed. Ling was released uncharged due to insufficient evidence as police believed Ching could be framing her for cheating with her boyfriend. Rather than quickly disappear, Ling starts stalking Ching, apparently jealous that Ching could have everything Ling wanted without an effort while Ling has to fight for it. Ching, at the beginning, sees that as a form of harassment, but soon twists it around and follows Ling instead. Ling seems accepting of this, showing her the darker side of life living as a poor girl compared to Ching's rich-girl background. The two engage in a subtle cat-and-mouse game, and Ching begins to fear for her life when Ling starts making threats to remove her kidney too.

Le jeune Xiao Xing est élève de quatrième année dans une école de petite ville de province. Son meilleur ami est Amao, un crocodile d'environ 11 mètres de long. Jusqu'à présent, ils s'entendent bien tous les deux. Pendant des années, le reptile a vécu dans une ferme tenue par Bald Liu, un individu plutôt robuste qui s'est procuré l'animal en Thaïlande. Mais cette année, Bald Liu a dû vendre tous les crocodiles parce que le commerce n'est guère florissant. Par malheur, Zhao Da Zui, homme d'affaires redoutable, les a tous achetés dans le but d'en faire des mets raffinés pour les plus fins palais. Lorsque les crocodiles sont amenés attachés à l'abattoir, Amao réussit à briser les cordes et parvient à tuer le chef-cuisinier, pour ensuite s'échapper. Les habitants de la ville sont pris de panique. Et pourtant, le petit Xiao Xing et son père, le policier Da Wei Wang, sont impliqués dans cette affaire. Au cours de son évasion, Amao avale le sac qu'une certaine Wen Yan avait acheté en Italie, contenant un cellulaire et un montant d'argent de 100 000 euros. Wen Yan demande l'aide des policiers.

This film begins with Nicholas Tse's character, Fung, waking up and getting ready for work as a mail man. During this he explains his life and the illness that has inflicted him. When Fung was younger, he got an illness that permanently took away his ability to hear and feel, even hearing aids will not help him. For Fung he has to read lips in order to understand what someone is saying to him. As he gets ready for work he is in the bathroom brushing his teeth while all of a sudden he smells something from behind him. It was his roommate Buddy who had an emergency and rushed into the bathroom, even though Fung was still in there. Fung reprimands his roommate and tells him that next time he better tell him that he is in the bathroom. Buddy defends himself by saying that he knocked but Fung did do or say anything so he took it as that it was ok to go inside. With this Fung leaves the bathroom and goes and gets his watch, it's special because it helps him hear better. Now that he is ready, Fung leaves his apartment and goes to work.

Sur le marché de la drogue de Hong Kong, le revendeur Jizo (Louis Koo) commence progressivement une collaboration avec certains seigneurs de la drogue mexicains de l’autre côté de la frontière. De son côté, Yu Shun-tin (Andy Lau), un ancien membre des triades devenu philanthrope et magnat de la finance, qui fut témoin de la consommation de drogue de son père pendant son enfance et dont le fils est mort du même fléau, abhorre la drogue qu'il considère comme le mal absolu. Par conséquent, il offre une prime de 100 millions HK$ pour éliminer le principal trafiquant de drogue de Hong Kong, ce qui provoque une agitation dans la société. Le surintendant principal Lam Ching-fung (Michael Miu) a l'intention d'arrêter Jizo, mais est maintenant responsable de sa protection à cause de la prime. Tout en se sentant impuissant, Lam est lui-même attiré par la prime offerte par Yu et est confronté à une lutte intérieur entre le bien et le mal. Une bataille finale éclate entre les deux magnats qui étaient autrefois des frères dans la même triade.
