Synopsis
Evan Birch (Guy Pearce) est un homme de famille et professeur de philosophie estimé dans un collège distingué. Lorsqu'une étudiante d'un lycée voisin disparaît, les anciennes alliances du professeur amènent l'épouse de ce dernier (Minnie Driver) à remettre en question son alibi. L’inspecteur Malloy (Pierce Brosnan) a encore plus de raisons de se méfier lorsque des preuves cruciales font de Evan le principal suspect de la disparition de l'étudiante. Soudain, les interrogations auxquelles Evan est confronté ne sont pas simplement académiques, elles sont une question de vie ou de mort.Actors
