T2 Trainspotting est un film britannique réalisé par Danny Boyle, sorti en 2017. Il fait suite à Trainspotting du même réalisateur, sorti en 1996.

Le film est présenté hors compétition au 67e Festival de Berlin.

Synopsis

Vingt ans après avoir dérobé le butin de 16 000 £ à ses amis, Mark Renton quitte Amsterdam et retourne à Édimbourg. Il retrouve son ami Daniel "Spud" Murphy, toujours héroïnomane et en proie à des pulsions suicidaires. Il croise aussi à nouveau la route de Simon « Sick Boy » Williamson, qui vit de petites combines et tient désespérément le pub déserté de sa tante, le Port Sunshine, dans le quartier froid et pluvieux de Leith. De son côté, Francis Begbie purge une peine de 25 ans de prison. Lassé et furieux de voir ses demandes de libération refusées, il compte bien s'évader et prendre sa revanche sur Mark.

Richard (Leonardo DiCaprio), a young American man with a love of world travel, arrives in Bangkok, Thailand in search of adventure. During the original outbreak of the Rage Virus, Don, his wife Alice, and four other survivors hide in a barricaded cottage on the outskirts of London. They hear a terrified boy pounding at their door, and let him in. A few minutes later, they discover that the infected have followed the boy to them. The infected attack and kill most of the survivors, while Don, Alice, and the boy are chased upstairs. Don is separated from Alice and when the boy is seen hiding in the closet. Alice rushes to get the boy, while Don tells her to just leave him. Soon the infected break into the room and after Alice pleading with Don to "help us", he decides to leave, abandoning them. Don desperately sprints to a nearby motorboat and narrowly escapes.

Vengeful, the Lizard contacts Dakota, a contract killer, who previously killed the only witness in a case against the Lizard. Dakota initially refuses the hit, but accepts when the Lizard offers to clear her gambling debts and give her a $250,000 bonus.
