Synopsis

Au cours du sauvetage de deux touristes imprudents, Matt Davidson et son fils découvrent deux chevaux très mal en point, piégés par la neige dans la montagne. La décision la plus raisonnable est d'abréger leurs souffrances, mais la fille de Matt, Nicki, décide de se battre pour les sauver. Dans un élan de générosité, toute la population de McBride se mobilise pour creuser une tranchée qui permettra de conduire les malheureuses bêtes hors de danger.
