A snowstorm leaves everyone in the House of Mouse stranded and "bah-humbug" Donald doesn't have any Christmas spirit. Mickey and all the other guests get hot chocolate and cookies to make Donald feel his Christmas spirit. The fun starts when Minnie gets the Christmas cartoons to watch. Their magical memories see to it that everyone has a holiday spirit, even Donald. At the end, everyone gets together and sings a musical number, "The Best Christmas of All".

Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and Mickey's dog Pluto are street urchins, who, while being robbed by masked bandits (played by the Beagle Boys) are saved by the Royal Musketeers, Athos, Aramis, Porthos and D'Artagnan. The short begins with a female moose (with blond curly hair and antlers oddly enough) wading through a lake. Other odd things that make this moose strange is that she sounds her mating call with a horn and her legs are strangely familiar. The legs' owners are Donald and Goofy, disguised in a moose costume. Following them is Mickey, sounding his own moose call while being disguised as a shrub on stilts. Goofy's call is answered by an actual moose, causing him and Donald to excitedly shout " A moose!" Mickey tells them to "do their stuff" so he can shoot the moose with his shotgun. So, the duo go off to track down a moose.

Mickey and his friends are vacationing in Hawaii. Minnie dances in a grass skirt while Mickey plays a slide guitar, Donald plays a ukulele, and Pluto chases the waves. Meanwhile, Goofy decides to go surfing, but when he rushes toward the wave it seems to have a mind of its own, running backwards as soon as Goofy starts running toward it, causing Goofy to hit his head on a rock. The wave then comes back in and washes Goofy around, eventually leaving his head stuck in the sand. Mickey begins to have some trouble playing his guitar, while Minnie and Donald trade places. However, when Donald takes his turn with the skirt, he dances too close to the fire and accidentally sets the skirt on fire. He rapidly goes to a pool to put the blaze out, but in the process, he pulls up a starfish.

Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are assigned to clean a tall clock tower. Mickey is outside cleaning the face with a mop by riding on the second hand. Goofy is inside the building cleaning gear teeth with a large toothbrush. Donald (singing "Hickory Dickory Dock") starts to mop the mainspring, ignoring several warning signs. He gets the mop caught and springs it loose.

Housemates Mickey and Donald are six months overdue on their rent payments. As they worriedly pace the floor, a sheriff bangs on the door and punches Mickey when he goes to answer. The sheriff, played by Pete, serves them a "Notice to Dispossess" authorizing him not only to evict them, but to sell off their belongings as collateral. He menacingly strikes a match on Donald's bill to light his cigar and leaves. The cigar is thrown into Donald's mouth like he is a trash can, after which he spits it out and squawks angrily at Pete.

Mickey est joyeux, car il a trouvé un cadeau pour Minnie. Il l'apporte chez elle, accompagné de Pluto. Minnie lui ouvre mais se cache derrière la porte. Elle ouvre le colis et découvre un canari dans une cage. Elle pose la cage sur le piano droit et sort l'oiseau qui se tient sur son doigt. Mickey sort sa flûte traversière et entame un morceau. L'oiseau se joint à lui, retourne dans sa cage et ressort accompagnant Minnie installée au piano. Une couvée de neuf oisillons surgit de la cage et se mêle à Mickey et Minnie. Mais rapidement, ils jouent avec les objets de la maison, qu'ils transforment petit à petit en foutoir, avant que Minnie s'en aperçoive et en emprisonne la plupart dans la cage. Commence alors une course-poursuite avec le dernier oisillon qui détruit la maison et fait de même avec le jardin, oisillon aidé par le chat et Pluto. C'est Pluto qui réussit à attraper l'oiseau fugueur en le gobant après une bataille dans le linge accroché.
