The film stars Catherine Keener, Kaitlyn Dever, Anton Yelchin, Riley Keough, Annie Starke, Cary Elwes, and Maya Rudolph. Principal photography began on July 7, 2014 in Worcester, Massachusetts, and ended on July 24, 2014.

Synopsis

Nancy Green (Catherine Keener) is the mother of a dysfunctional family. She is pushed to her limits after the disappearance of her son, Maxwell Green (Anton Yelchin).

She begs them to save her by letting her into the car, but Paul locks the doors and drives away as the three men savagely beat her, leaving her unconscious in the street.
