Winter of Frozen Dreams is a 2009 independent American crime drama directed by Eric Mandelbaum, and starring Thora Birch, Keith Carradine, and Brendan Sexton III. The film follows the story of Barbara Hoffman, a Wisconsin biochemistry student and prostitute convicted of murder in the first televised murder trial ever.

Synopsis

Le film retrace l'histoire vraie de Barbara Hoffman, une étudiante en biochimie qui se prostituait dans le Wisconsin et fut condamnée pour les meurtres de deux de ses clients par empoisonnement au cyanure, durant l'hiver 1980, lors du premier procès criminel télévisé des États-Unis.

A squad of nine Louisiana National Guard soldiers convene in a Louisiana swamp for weekend maneuvers.
