Wonder Woman est un film de super-héros américain réalisé par Patty Jenkins, sorti en 2017.
Le personnage de Wonder Woman créé par William Moulton Marston en 1941 avait déjà été adapté à la télévision dans The New Adventures of Wonder Woman (1977-1979) mais il s'agit avec ce film de la première adaptation cinématographique en prise de vues réelle entièrement consacrée au personnage, après son apparition dans Batman v Superman : L'Aube de la Justice sorti en 2016.
Écrit par Allan Heinberg, Zack Snyder et Geoff Johns, le film traite de l'arrivée de la guerrière amazone Wonder Woman dans le monde des hommes au cours de la Première Guerre mondiale pour sauver les populations des manipulations du dieu grec de la guerre, Arès.
Gal Gadot interprète Diana Prince, aussi connue en tant que Wonder Woman, une guerrière amazone élevée sur une île isolée de la civilisation humaine qui rencontre accidentellement un officier américain nommé Steve Trevor, incarné par Chris Pine, duquel elle tombera amoureuse et qui la mènera sur le front de l'ouest lors de la Première Guerre mondiale pour affronter le dieu Arès et ainsi mettre un terme au conflit.
Lors de son exploitation, le film bat plusieurs records. D'abord, pour son premier week-end d'exploitation aux États-Unis, le film récolte plus de 200 millions de dollars de recettes. Wonder Woman devient dès lors le plus gros succès commercial lors de son premier week-end d'ouverture pour un film réalisé par une femme, devançant ainsi Cinquante nuances de Grey.
Après quatre semaines d'exploitation aux États-Unis, le film récolte 346,6 millions de dollars et dépasse les résultats obtenus par Batman v Superman : L'Aube de la Justice en douze semaines, Suicide Squad et Man of Steel en quatorze semaines. Wonder Woman se hisse ainsi à la première place des plus gros succès de l'univers cinématographique de DC Comics et à la troisième pour les adaptations des bandes dessinées de DC Entertainment aux États-Unis.
Au total, le film amasse 821,8 millions de dollars de recettes dans le monde (pour un budget de 120 à 150 millions de dollars), devenant le film le 5e meilleur démarrage de l'année 2017 et le 17e meilleur démarrage d'une franchise de tous les temps.
Salué par la critique mondiale, il occupait la 1 place du classement des meilleurs films de super-héros de tous les temps par le site Rotten Tomatoes, avec plus de 92 % de critiques positives et une note de 7.5/10, jusqu'à la sortie de Black Panther en février 2018.
Synopsis
Vivant à Paris où elle travaille au musée du Louvre, Diana Prince reçoit de la part de Bruce Wayne une photographie la montrant au front lors de la Première Guerre mondiale aux côtés de Steve Trevor et ses amis. Elle se remémore alors sa jeunesse sur l'île de Themyscira, parmi les Amazones, qu'elle a quittée pour affronter Arès, le dieu de la guerre, et devenir Wonder Woman.Actors

After moving from Michigan to Florida, Aileen Wuornos, a prostitute, meets Selby Wall in a gay bar. After initial hostility and declaring that she is not gay, Aileen talks to Selby over beers. Selby takes to Aileen almost immediately, as she likes that she is very protective of her. Selby invites her to spend the night with her. They return to the house where Selby is staying (temporarily exiled by her parents following the accusation from another girl that Selby tried to kiss her). They later agree to meet at a roller skating rink, and they kiss for the first time. Aileen and Selby fall in love, but they have nowhere to go, so Selby goes back to her Aunt's home.

In 1184 France, Balian (Orlando Bloom), a blacksmith, is haunted by his wife's recent suicide. Beowulf (Ray Winstone) is a legendary Geatish warrior who travels to Denmark with his band of soldiers, including his best friend, Wiglaf (Brendan Gleeson). Four years after Kirk's promotion in 2259, the starship USS Enterprise studies a primitive culture on the planet Nibiru. Captain James T. Kirk and his First Officer, Commander Spock, save the planet's inhabitants from an extinction-threatening volcanic eruption, but Kirk violates the Prime Directive, exposing the Enterprise to the native inhabitants to save Spock's life. Returning to Earth, Kirk loses command of the Enterprise and Admiral Christopher Pike is reinstated as its commanding officer with Kirk demoted to first officer and the rank of Commander. For his part in the incident, Spock is reassigned to another ship. An officers' meeting is called to discuss the bombing of a Section 31 installation in London perpetrated by the renegade Starfleet operative John Harrison (Cumberbatch). Harrison attacks the meeting in a jumpship, killing Pike. Kirk disables the jumpship, but Harrison uses a portable transporter to escape to Kronos, the homeworld of hostile aliens known as Klingons.
