Une espèce de vampires extraterrestre vise à conquérir l'Univers. Un vaisseau terrien transporte une équipe spécialisée pour les combattre, composée d'Humains et d'un demi-vampire/demi-humain.
Un policier à cheval ramasse un petit enfant qui se tient debout au milieu de la route, juste avant le passage d'une automobile. Avec deux autres policiers (à moto), ils pourchassent l'automobile. Après une longue poursuite, ils la dépassent finalement et procèdent à l'arraisonnement du conducteur et des occupants du véhicule.
Ranger Captain Walker and Rangers Francis Gage and Rhett Harper are involved in a shooting at a bank where a group of robbers hijack the operators. Ranger Harper kills two of the robbers while the leader is able to escape. A form of guidance missile accidentally ends up in the hands of a thirteen-year-old who does not know that three Koreans, who are very skilled in combat, is what they're looking for. The criminals go to the kid's house where they kill his father. The boy manages to escape, but the criminals remit to look for work. Jimmy has to leave for a family vacation and away from the group, while Gage is following the case of the boy, helped by the Ranger Kay Austin. As if that were not enough a girl with whom he had an appointment Ranger Harper is killed and all evidence leads to Ranger Harper.

Buck and the Preacher opens with a deep rhythm and blues soundtrack reminiscent of a John Wayne Western that was given deep soul and harmony from the 1970s. The camera switches scenes to a camp of African-Americans who have been just freed from slavery and are heading West for a better life. A band of men on horseback terrorize the camp by burning wagons and tents and killing men, women and children. The leader of these white bandits, DeShay (Cameron Mitchell), is wearing an old cavalry jacket hinting at his military past.

Not long after the invasion and occupation of Earth by a race of powerful robots wanting human knowledge and ingenuity, humans are confined to their homes. Leaving without permission would be to risk their lives. Monitored by the electronic implants in their necks, the robot sentries are able to track the movements of humans in order to control them. And if any person comes out of their home, they are given warnings by the robot sentries to get inside their home. If they do not comply, they are shot immediately.
The film concerns a student, Ch'oe Yeongjin, who has become mentally ill after being imprisoned and tortured by the Japanese for his involvement in the March 1, 1919 protest against the Japanese colonial rule. He returns to live with his father and sister, Yeongheui, in their small village home. Yeongjin's friend, Yun Hyeon'gu, is in love with Yeongheui. While the villagers are preoccupied with a harvest festival, O Kiho, a collaborationist for the Japanese police, attempts to rape Yeongheui. Hyeon'gu fights with Kiho, striking and killing him with a sickle. When Yeongjin regains his sanity, he believes himself to have killed Kiho. The film ends with the Japanese police taking Yeongjin over Arirang hill to return to prison.
In Punguna, Na Woon-gyu plays the role of Nicolai Park, a veteran of the Russian army, who has returned to Korea from European battlefields. Broke, hungry, and unable to find employment, he is taken in as a boarder by Kim Chang-ho. Chang-ho's friend, Cha-duk becomes romantically involved with Hae-ok, who had sold herself to support her parents. Cha-duk's wife, Yeong-ja becomes involved with Nicolai, who rejects her proposal to run away with him. The romantic complications spiral until Yeong-ja kills Cha-duk. The film ends with Nicolai departing for destinations unknown while the other boarders bid him farewell.
