Kamala is determined no to bow before injustice but secure her rightful place in society. She makes an all but bid to join college with the contrivance of Dr. Ratanlal, a close friend of her father. In college she come across Shyam who helps her in many difficult situations.

The film centres on the life of Phil, a fun loving student in his final year at British secondary school.
