Dans ce monde futuriste, un enfant reçoit pour cadeau d'anniversaire un androïde-nounou qui le suivra constamment. Une fois devenu adulte, il intègre la Space Academy et part à l'aventure dans l'univers connu, rencontrant différentes race extraterrestres, certaines amies, d'autres ennemies. Son but est de retrouver le Phénix, une créature mythique aux propriétés énergétiques inouïes. Eu égard au courage et à la volonté dont il fait preuve lors de cette quête, le Phénix décide d'en savoir plus sur cet aventurier tenace et sur la race dont il fait partie. Ainsi, le Phénix décide d'habiter le corps de l'androïde qui l'accompagne toujours…
When the evil alien Zanon comes to enslave earth, all hope seems lost. The Earth's resident superheroes, the Spacewomen, are powerless to stop him. They must enlist the help of a young boy who has a special connection with the giant turtle Gamera. The Friend of All Children then battles Gyaos (a huge flying vampiric bat/pterosaur), Zigra (an alien shark), Viras (a space squid), Jiger (a giant phehistoric dinosaur), Guiron (a knife-headed extraterrestrial demon beast) and finally Barugon (a enormous lizard whose tongue sprays a freezing liquid that can freeze things solid and a massive back which emits a powerful rainbow energy ray that can melt or dissolve any hard solids). Gamera self-destructs in the end to destroy Zanon once and for all and protect the earth.
In the distant past of Japan a lazy and selfish Taro loves to eat and sleep and wrestle with the animals. With no direction in his life, a Tengu appears that gives him a special potion. With this potion, he gains the strength of a hundred men - but he can only use it when he is helping others. After drinking the potion, Taro, day by day, begins to understand what it means to help other, first my fighting Akaoni (Red Oni) to save Aya, a young girl gifted with the flute, then by helping others in his village collect fire wood. One night his grandmother tells him of his mother's transformation into a dragon. Taro then begins his search for his mother. Before his search for his mother starts, Taro again confronts Akaoni after hearing from the animals that Aya was captured by Kurooni (Black Oni). After a brief fight, Akaoni agrees to help Taro save Aya from Kurooni. After besting Kunooni, Taro finds out he has also saved a village terrorized by Kurooni and Akaoni, the later bullied into the former's service. Taro then aids Akaoni by throwing him into the clouds to serve the thunder god. After the village celebrates Taro's deeds, he starts his search. He comes upon an old woman and is tricked into service in her rice patties. After a successful harvest year and learning the truth from a giant serpent living in the lake next to the old woman's rice farm, Taro takes the fruits of his labor and gives it to the old woman's former employees and others, leaving her with little. During his conversation with the serpent, Taro learns that nine mountain overs lives a yamanba that could point him in the right direction. Taro takes that information and finds the yamanba. The yamanba tells him what he seeks and lets slip she was responsible for the serpent. After narrowing escaping the yamanba, Taro is overpowered by yukionna. The following morning, Aya finds Taro near frozen and able to revive him. With her aid, Taro finds the lake where his mother, Tatsu, now lives. Tatsu tells Taro why she was transformed, as a mother heavy with child fulfilling her duties to her unborn child, she needed to eat, but neglecting her duties to the rest of her village, she left nothing of her catch for the other workers. Taro then proposes a means to make the lives of the villager back home better, by making for them a new home able to be large rice patties. Taro and Tatsu them attempt to break the dam that formed the lake Tatsu resides. Although they succeed, Tatsu's body is broken and all seeing it after the lake had emptied concluded she had died. Morning the lost of his mother, Taro is relieved to see her life was returned and she is yet again human. Their actions are successful and the new flooded low lands enable prosperity for all the villagers Taro has helped, not only along his way but from his home village.

On their way to a maneuver, a wildly mixed group of Japanese soldiers with a tank, an APC, a patrol boat and a helicopter suddenly find themselves stranded 400 years in the past and under attack by samurai forces. Their designated leader, Lieutenant Yoshiaki Iba (Sonny Chiba), befriends and joins forces with Nagao Kagetora, the war leader of lord Koizumi. Seeing the stranded soldiers' war machinery in action, Kagetora persuades Iba to aid him in his struggle for supremacy in Japan.

À la mort du second Shogun Tokugawa, les rivalités apparaissent pour sa succession. Le fils ainé du shogun, Iemitsu Tokugawa est laid et bégaie et semble manquer de charisme pour assumer cette tâche. La mère de celui, aidée du chancelier Doi, semble lui préférer son frère cadet Tadanaga. Mais le maître d'armes du Shogun, Tajima Yagyu, ainsi que plusieurs courtisans soutiennent Iemitsu. Chacun des camps parvient à convaincre son protégé de lutter pour succéder au Shogun. Enfin, les courtisans de l'Empereur cherchent à restaurer l'autorité de ce dernier. Les deux frères finissent donc par s'opposer dans une guerre mêlant batailles, intrigues et trahisons.

Kido's granddaughter, Princess Emeralida, and the warrior Urocco follow the seeds into space.
The plot revolves around a young man who has an affair with an older woman. He is very jealous of her husband and decides that they should kill him. One night, after the husband had plenty of shouchu to drink and was in bed, they strangle him and dump his body down a well. To avert any suspicions, she pretends her husband has gone off to Tokyo to work. For three years the wife and her lover secretly see each other. Finally, suspicions become very strong and people begin to gossip. To make matters worse, her husband's ghost begins to haunt her and the law arrives to investigate her husband's disappearance.

In Japan, a young girl nicknamed Gorgeous (Kimiko Ikegami) has plans for a summer vacation with her father (Saho Sasazawa) who had been in Italy scoring film music. Her father returns home and surprises Gorgeous by announcing she has a new stepmother, Ryoko Ema (Haruko Wanibuchi). This upsets Gorgeous as her mother had died years earlier. Gorgeous goes to her bedroom and writes a letter to her aunt asking if she could come visit her this summer instead. Gorgeous' aunt replies and allows her to come visit. Gorgeous invites her six friends, Prof (Ai Matsubara), Melody (Eriko Tanaka), Kung Fu (Miki Jinbo), Mac (Mieko Sato), Sweet (Masayo Miyako) and Fantasy (Kumiko Oba) to come along with her. On arriving at the aunt's house, the girls are greeted by Gorgeous' aunt (Yōko Minamida) to whom they present a watermelon.
Master assassin Golgo 13 (Sonny Chiba) is hired by an American crime syndicate to kill Chou Lei Fang, a powerful member of the syndicate's Hong Kong branch who has been selling their drugs through his own channels. At the same time, he has to keep an eye out on Smith (Callan Leung), a hard-boiled Hong Kong detective who is hell-bent on taking down Chou and his drug-manufacturing organization.
In 1936 Tokyo, Sada Abe (Eiko Matsuda) is a former prostitute who now works as a maid in a hotel. The hotel's owner, Kichizo Ishida (Tatsuya Fuji), molests her, and the two begin an intense affair that consists of sexual experiments and various self-indulgences. Ishida leaves his wife to pursue his affair with Sada. Sada becomes increasingly possessive and jealous of Ishida, and Ishida more eager to please her. Their mutual obsession escalates to the point where Ishida finds she is most excited by strangling him during lovemaking, and he is killed in this fashion. Sada then severs his penis, walks around with it inside her for several days, and writes, "Sada Kichi the two of us forever," in blood on his chest.
