The film opens at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, with a phone conversation between Mr. Makinde Esho (Femi Jacobs) and his Managing director (Jide Kosoko). Makinde is reminded by his MD about how important it is for him to get an authorization from the Ministry of Land, and return to Lagos with a positive feedback. Just as Makinde is about to board a Taxi, he is interrupted by Ejura (Linda Ejiofor), a female Corp member who pleads for a Lift, as she is short on cash and there is a long queue at the ATM. Makinde refuses at first, but after much persuasion from Ejura, he reluctantly agrees. Even though Ejura had promised earlier to keep mute during the ride, her inquisitive nature gives Makinde facial expressions that prompt answers and eventually start a conversation.

The film opens with a man telling his little daughter a tale about Idomaland. Odeh (Hakeem Kae-Kazim) and Princess Inale (Caroline Chikezie) are both in love with each other. however, according to the customs of the land, Odeh has to wrestle several other suitors of Inale in order to be able to have Inale's hand in marriage. Odeh wrestles several men and wins in all the fights; King Oche, the King of Otukpo and Inale's father declares Odeh the winner. Just before the wrestling ceremony ends, a masked stranger appears and challenges Odeh to a fight; the Stranger wins and he's revealed to be Prince Agaba (Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey), a Prince from Apah, a nearby village, which has been in a long rift with Otukpo. The king reluctantly declares the new winner and tells Prince Agaba that his wife would be escorted to his village the next day.

Emeka Nwosu (Ramsey Nouah) was stuck in a traffic presumely caused by the death of a pedestrian, when his concubine, Isabella (Tunde Aladese), sent him a text reminding him to get home early so they can have fun together. City hustlers Charlie (OC Ukeje) and Chichi (Gold Ikponmwosa) arrive the scene with the former taking advantage of unsuspecting road-watchers and stealing a phone after a fight broke out on the crowded road. Bello (Ali Nuhu) is a diligent and honest civil servant, whose only "crime" at the office has been his refusal to partake in any of the corrupt practice by his co-workers. His raucous boss uses every opportunity to disrespect him. During a workday, Bello is given more jobs to do by his colleagues after work hours. He reluctantly accepts and is subsequently abused by his boss for not finishing the job on time despite his explanations.
