In feudal Korea, during the Goryeo Dynasty, a king controls the land with an iron fist, subjecting the peasantry to misery and starvation. An old blacksmith who was sent to prison creates a tiny figurine of a monster by making a doll of rice. When it comes into contact with the blood of the blacksmith's daughter, the creature springs to life, becoming a giant metal-eating monster named Pulgasari.

A tugboat pulling a huge iceberg arrives at a port in Alexandria, Egypt, when suddenly, the iceberg shatters and releases a megalodon from suspended animation. The Mega Shark begins its reign of terror by flipping the tugboat to the air until it crashes and decapitates the Sphinx hundreds of miles away in Giza. Following the incident, several countries around the world place their ports on lockdown and impose a ban on fishing, adversely affecting the world's economy as the megalodon terrorizes the seas. Meanwhile, rumors surface of the United Nations' proposal to develop a weapon to combat the shark.

After Andy Flynn destroyed the original Sharktopus (a half-shark half-octopus creature), its various pieces floated back out into the ocean. However, among the scattered anatomy was an egg sack and marine biologist Lorena finds herself the ward of the creature's sole offspring which she begins raising at her uncle's aquarium to mixed success. Meanwhile, Dr. Rico Symes is hard at work on his own biological weapon. After harvesting a pterodactyl's DNA, he used the DNA from a barracuda to fill in the gaps, creating a monster that can terrorize land, sea, and air. Things are looking pretty good during the initial test flight until the creature is hijacked by a rogue engineer, looking to sell it the highest bidder. He probably would have gotten away with it if he didn't spill his coffee all over his console, but now the Pteracuda is free to rampage the coast in search of food.

Two piranhacondas hunt for their stolen egg. Scientist Professor Lovegrove, who stole the egg, hitchhikes to a Hawaiian island and meets a movie crew filming on location. The star, the scientist, and some crew members are kidnapped and held for ransom. A piranhaconda roaming the island devours several women and some scientists who are searching for a rare flower. The creature attacks the kidnappers' hideout, but the film crew and the scientist escape unharmed. The lead kidnapper finds a camera. The film within it shows that the scientist stole the egg, which caused the piranhaconda to attack, and he decides to kill the snake and the film crew. The snake follows the film crew, who are in a truck, but it is wounded by a grenade. The second piranhaconda arrives and, sensing blood, attacks and kills its wounded mate. It then decides to track down the film crew. Lovegrove reveals that he had the egg, so they try to escape via boat, but the piranhaconda stalls their plans. Lovegrove pretends to get rid of the egg, but doesn't, causing the creature to follow them. The crew become trapped by five remaining kidnappers, but the piranhaconda eats the kidnappers. Lovegrove, Jack, and Rose get back to the boat, but Jack stays on shore to destroy the creature. On the boat, Rose realizes that Lovegrove had the egg all along. She throws it into the river and shoves him overboard. He is then killed by the piranhaconda. Rose goes back to shore and finds Jack. Using the egg, they lure the piranhaconda to a waterfall. Jack slips a bomb into the case and throws it at the beast; then he and Rose jump into the river below. The bomb goes off and decapitates the piranhaconda. The two make a date with one another. They kissed before being killed by a third piranhaconda, thus ending the film.

12 years after the TV series, Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) is now a star in his own series about survival, taking place in Perfection. He is approached by filmmaker Travis Welker, (Jamie Kennedy) who wants to help expand his brand, made famous by his series; he becomes Burt's new cameraman. Travis says he's from Florida, where Burt seems to have some history. Erick Van Wyk from the South African Wildlife Ministry asks them to deal with an Ass-Blaster problem. After Erick agrees to pay them for their services, Burt and Travis head to Africa to hunt down the creatures. Burt becomes friends with the pilot of their helicopter, Dan Bravers, who explains to him that a monster hunter and a monster have a strange attraction, reminding Burt of El Blanco. Burt is upset to find that South African gun laws have impounded the heavy weapons he was bringing. They arrive at the Cradlestone Reserve and meet Dreyer, who has tranquilizers to sedate and capture an Ass-Blaster. Burt has come prepared to find Graboids as well: "If you got Ass-Blasters, you got Graboids.

A group of teenagers journey to a remote jungle in search of a friend who's been reported as lost after his trip to the jungle. They use a hot air balloon to search for him. While searching, they are caught in a brutal wind storm which blows their vessel into the middle of the jungle. The teenagers are forced to seek shelter in a dark cave where, unbeknownst to them, an unusual creature is silently resting. Soon, the group finds out the terrible thing deep inside the cave, a gigantic Boa, they must now fight for survival before they all die.
