The beautiful and virginal Sylvia (Anita Ekberg) is delighted to discover that she's inherited not only the noble title of Countess, but she has also inherited a castle located in the country. She excitedly calls her fiance Piero (Gianni Medici) to tell him that she's going to travel to view the castle. Once there she stops at a local inn for a drink, where she announces her destination and relation to the castle's inhabitants- which horrifies the townspeople. Unswayed by the townspeople's reactions, Sylvia arrives at the castle and meets her uncle, the Count Walbrooke (Julian Ugarte), and beds down for the night. She is later awakened by the maidservant Blinka (Adriana Ambesi), who warns her that Walbrooke is a century-old vampire that means her harm. Blinka's attempts to draw Sylvia out of bed and out of the castle are interrupted by Walbrooke, who takes her into another room and whips her. Sylvia pleads with him to stop, only for Walbrooke to reveal that Blinka herself is also a vampire.
Gretchen (Sean Serino), a young woman, becomes desperate to contact her brother after his passing. She discovers an amulet that allows her to control the dead—which she uses to try and contact him. The amulet also allows results in the calling forth of a small army of zombies, comedically called "Post-Mortem Americans" in the film. This amulet is a sought after relic, pursued by two feuding vampires who have been at odds for millennia: Vellich (Andrew Divoff) and Sebed (Tom Savini). After encountering the vampires, Gretchen and her friends are joined by the vampire-hunter McCallister (Jason Carter), who had originally stolen the amulet from Vellich. McCallister helps Gretchen and her friends combat the villains, and the film ends with a final showdown between the protagonists and the vampires. The film was called a "vampire-zombie hybrid movie" by the Columbus Dispatch.
Simon (Kevin Zegers) is a seemingly ordinary biology teacher that spends much of his spare time caring for his Alzheimers-ridden mother Helga (Amanda Plummer). This ends up not being the case, as Simon believes himself to be a vampire and spends much of his time looking at online sites for suicidal women who would make for easy prey. One such woman, Jellyfish (Keisha Castle-Hughes), is tricked into believing that she and Simon will both be killing one another, only for Simon to drink her blood after he administers sleeping pills and draws blood from her. Along with his vampiric hobby, Simon tries to keep his mother indoors by putting her in a straitjacket-esque contraption tied to several large balloons. It's when Simon meets Laura (Rachael Leigh Cook) that things begin to unravel, as she grows obsessed with him to the point where she breaks into his home. Things begin to further devolve when Renfield (Trevor Morgan), a man who also believes himself to be a vampire, emerges onto the scene and is far more violent than Simon ever dared to be.

Baron Osvaldo Lambertenghi is forced to sell his ancestral castle for debts. The manor is ingloriously transformed into a frivolous hotel and Osvaldo is allowed to continue to live there working as a porter. Osvaldo tries to warn of what the various guests of the hotel, with the only result of being taken for a madman. Bitten by his uncle, Oswald will also turn into a vampire, but her lover Lulu will be able to free him from the curse.

Twenty-five years later, Charles is a werewolf bounty hunter, working alongside a band of other hunters to rid the world of all werewolves. Werewolves in this fictional world can inflict lycanthropy. Infected individuals are typically shot in the head, after which their bodies are burned. Werewolves are usually only able to transform during the full moon. Charles and company receive an offer to hunt down a particularly vicious werewolf of a new breed. This new type of werewolf is able to transform three nights in a row.
The two twelve year old half-vampire sisters Silvania and Dakaria Tepes move from Transylvania to a small German town, together with their father Mihai (a vampire) and their (human) mother Elvira.
