Adrian Grenier (born July 10, 1976) is an American actor, producer, director, and musician. He is best known for playing Vincent Chase on the HBO series Entourage.

Biography

Adrian est issu d'une famille d'origines amérindienne, irlandaise et française (d'où son nom de famille).

Il étudia l'art dramatique à la Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts et au Bard College.

Il fit ses débuts d'acteur, en 1997, au cinéma, où il joua dans Arresting Gena.

Deux ans plus tard, en 1999, il joua aux côtés de Melissa Joan Hart dans Drive Me Crazy et en 2001, aux côtés de Sarah Michelle Gellar et James Toback dans le film Harvard Story (Harvard Man).



En 2004, il obtient le rôle principal dans la série télévisée Entourage où il interprète le rôle de Vincent Chase ce qui lui permit d'accéder à la célébrité.

Il a également joué, en 2006 dans Le Diable s'habille en Prada où il joue Nate, le petit ami du personnage de Anne Hathaway.

En plus d'être un acteur, Adrian est aussi un musicien, jouant de la guitare, du tambour, du cor d'harmonie ou encore du piano. Il est de plus, un membre du groupe The Honey Brothers localisé à New York.

Adrian Grenier a travaillé pour Woody Allen deux fois : Pour Celebrity et La Vie et tout le reste (Anything Else) en tant qu'acteur.Il a joué le rôle d'un membre de l'entourage d'un teen idol (Joué par Leonardo DiCaprio) dans Celebrity alors qu'actuellement, il joue une vedette dans Entourage. Il joue le rôle d'un serveur dans le clip "(You Drive Me) Crazy" de la chanteuse américaine Britney Spears. En 2001, le magazine Nylon le désigne comme "le futur John Travolta".

Il a réalisé un documentaire, Shot in the Dark dans lequel il raconte ses années de recherche de son père, John Dunbar qui l'avait abandonné étant bébé. Adrian ne pouvait d'ailleurs pas terminer le film puisque ses recherches n'avaient pas réellement abouti. Il a réalisé aussi en 2009, un documentaire sur les paparazzi de la côte Ouest des États-Unis et focalisé le film sur un jeune paparazzo de 14 ans, Austin Visschedyk qui piste Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan ou Eva Longoria .. Le film, " Teenage paparazzo " a été présenté en 2010 au Festival de Deauville et a été diffusé en février 2011 sur Canal + en France.

The story takes place in the fictional small town of Lode, New Mexico, where just about all of the male townsfolk work for a copper mining plant, including Power (Gold). Power (whose name was given to him by his father so he could grow up strong) lives with his Aunt Joanie (Lynch) and is always shown air-drumming to music, even when at work. It turns out he air-drums because his father never could afford to buy him drums. He does his air-drumming at a talent show in a local bar, where his only praise comes from a young boy. Unfortunately, the mining plant is poised to strike, but Power is fired for a mishap that is one too many just beforehand, therefore he cannot join in. Disappointed, he stumbles upon an ad for an underground air-drumming place about forty miles south of them just across the border in Mexico. The boy lends him his dirt bike to get there, but he ends up losing it while there.
