Ramakrishna (Chiranjeevi) is a mechanic whose life changes when he meets Priya (Anjala Zaveri) at a train station. She sees him and feels some inexplicable connection and runs away with him to flee her father, Mahendra's (Prakash Raj) goons. They end up living in the forest with their son, but her father, who is an underworld don, kidnaps her so that he can marry her off to another don's son. Ramakrishna confronts her father and in the ensueing struggle Priya takes the bullet shot at her husband and dies. Their son, because of the shock, loses his voice and Ramakrishna is jailed. Mahendra takes the boy away to Kolkata, where the story originally started. Rama Krishna with the help of Padmavathi (Soundarya) reunites with his son.

Nazar and Saratbabu are two rich and powerful rivals in a village. Nazar’s daughter Supriya and Saratbabu’s son Kalyan study in same college, where they both engage in few fights and bets. Kalyan and his gang’s attempts to enter girls hostel and succeeds at last, and he wins a bet with Supriya. Slowly their love blossoms under these petty things and they reach their village, where they are separated at railway station itself by their parents. Vacation ends and Kalyan reaches station to get back to his college, but Supriya does not turn up. Kalyan learns that her marriage is fixed, and gets off the train to reach Supriya’s house.

Seetha (Aamani) is a possessive wife who suspects that all the women in the world are throwing themselves at her husband, Madhu (Jagapathi Babu). Sitaram (Chiranjeevi) is the son of the benevolent patriarch of his village who has been the Panchayat President for the past thirty years. Sitaram, his family and the village community are victimized by Vasundhara (Lakshmi) and Peddaiah (Kota Srinivasa Rao). Peddaiah's NRI son, Siva (Chinna) comes to the village from America to see Pappi (Ramya Krishna), the eldest daughter of Vasundhara, and a girl of Peddaiah's choice for him to marry, but he decides instead to marry Sitaram's sister, Malleswari (Ooha), a traditional Telugu girl. Peddaiah agrees to the marriage after he realises that the ancestral land which Sitaram's father had distributed to the coolies contains priceless granite deposits. He demands the land as dowry days before the proposed marriage. Sitaram's father refuses to take it back from the coolies. Peddaiah cancels the marriage. Vasundhara is angered by Siva's choice but dupes the coolies, steals their land and makes a deal with Peddaiah. Siva's marriage is fixed with Pappi without his knowledge.

The movie starts with a young man Surendra (Chiranjeevi) landing in a town for a job. He witnesses rivalry between two mafia gangs at that place. After a fight with a street goon, he is recognized by one gang and encouraged to become a don. He rents a room in Madhavi's house, who lives with her sister Roja and granny (Nirmalamma). After few routine scenes, Roja falls in love with Surendra and expresses her love. This is one of the disastrous movie in Chiranjeevi's film career.

Prabhu, the chairman of Chennai's Government Arts College, is asked by his Principal to invite the Governor of Tamil Nadu, Kakarlal Sathyanarayana Moorthy, to be the chief guest on the annual day of the college. When he goes to invite Kakarlal, he bumps into his daughter, Shruthi, instantly falling in love with her. To propose his love for her, he even joins in the same dance class as her. She too subsequently gets to know more about him and falls in love with him. Since there is considerable fear of terrorism in the state, Kakarlal does not permit his daughter to travel anywhere without bodyguards. On one occasion, she manages to give them the slip and runs away with Prabhu at a dance festival. Shortly after, there is the threat of a bomb being planted. Shruthi is immediately brought home and Prabhu is arrested. Shruthi is forbidden to see Prabhu. After being beaten severely, Prabhu is released from police custody and taken back home, tended by his police father Kathiresan. He then goes to meet Shruthi unaware of the changed circumstances. This is where he finds evidence that will lead him to a hideout of bomb specialist Mallikarjuna who is the mastermind of all the bomb blasts. Prabhu realizes that Mallikarjuna has been working for Kakarlal to kill innocent civilians with bombs. Kakarlal pays Mallikarjuna to put a bomb in Government General Hospital. Kakarlal betrays Mallikarjuna by killing him with a (bomb radio). Unfortunately, Mallikarjuna survives but he's wounded. Mallikarjuna changes the time, so the bomb can explode earlier. When Kakarlal shows up, he realizes that Mallikarjuna's still alive but Mallikarjuna disappears again. Prabhu and other people take the patients out of the Government General Hospital. Kakarlal, Kakarlal's wife, and Shruthi get stuck in an elevator. Prabhu finds the bomb and manages to get out of the hospital as soon as possible, so he can throw the bomb off the bridge into the water. The bomb explodes in the water. After Shruthi gets out of the elevator, a wounded Mallikarjuna breaks from the top and electrocutes Kakarlal to death. Mallikarjuna also dies because of blood loss. The film ends with the reunion of Prabhu and Shruthi. It's presumed that Prabhu and Shruthi got married.

Bala Krishna / Balaiah (Nandamuri Balakrishna) is a villager who fights against his uncle Ramadasu (Rao Gopal Rao), an arrogant devotee of the Hindu god Rama who always says that Rama told him to do all his schemes. His daughter Rani (Ramya Krishna) is Balaiah's cousin who loves Balaiah so much and is willing to do anything for him. She beats up any young girl who even goes near Balaiah. This is when Balaiah meets Priya (Raveena Tandon), a teenage girl who is Balaiah's other cousin from the city along with Tulasamma (Srividya), Priya's caretaker. He falls in love with Priya as this outrages Rani and she begins to feel jealous. Rani and Priya challenge each other that if Priya can make Balaiah fall in love with him, Rani should apologize for her misbehavior and forget about Balaiah. If Priya fails, she should leave the village. Balaiah proposes to Priya which she accepts, although not really loving him. One day Priya takes the challenge too far when Balaiah is bitten by a poisonous snake because she asks him to get a ring from that snake on purpose. This is when she reveals that she really wasn't in love with him. This angers Balaiah who ties the mangalasutra considering them wife and husband. Though Balaiah doesn't love her anymore and he only tied it to show her not to mess with people's lives. This becomes a huge deal around the village and Ramadasu begins to blackmail about it until he is later arrested by Tulasamma, who is secretly a police officer. Balaiah's mother Annapurnamma (Annapurna) tries to reunite the couple along with Rani, who inside is extremely disappointed for not marrying Balaiah. When Priya is attacked by a bunch of goons one day, Balaiah saves her and Priya falls in love with him. However Balaiah still doesn't love her or consider her as his wife. Priya moves in Balaiah's home with Annapurnamma's acceptance. One day when a man tries to shoot Priya, he questions why a group of assassins are after her. Tulasamma then reveals Priya's dark past. Priya's brother-in-law DIG Benarjee (Devan) kills Nana's (Devaraj) brother and arrests Nana. Nana who is a powerful terrorist seeks revenge by killing Benarjee and his family. Priya is the only one who survives but Nana is in search of her while still in jail. In order for her to be safe, the police hide her in Nana's hometown since people barely know it and that Nana will never figure out she's there. It is also revealed that Priya is not Balaiah's cousin, they used him so that no one knows about this. Balaiah then starts loving Priya and promises to protect her from Nana. Meanwhile, Nana escapes from jail and finds out that Priya is in his hometown. Balaiah kills Nana and the film ends with Balaiah's first night with Priya and she arguing with Rani about who gives him a glass of milk.

Krishna (Jagapathi Babu) a chronic bachelor, who hates women because his elder brother Krishna Mohan Rao (Raja) is killed by his lover. Radha (Soundarya) a young and beautiful girl falls in love with Krishna, but he rejects her love because of his hatred on women. After some time, Krishna also understands her love when Radha tries to commit suicide. Meanwhile, Chinna grows up 10-year old boy and Shantamma is getting old day-by-day Jayanti decides to hand over Chinna's responsibility to Krishna. Shantamma says Chinna that Krishna is his father, from that day Chinna follows him like white on rice, torches him a lot and also spoils marriage life of Krishna and Radha.
