Andrew Dice Clay (born Andrew Clay Silverstein; September 29, 1957) is an American comedian and actor. He played the lead role in the 1990 film The Adventures of Ford Fairlane.
Clay has been in several movies and has released a number of stand-up comedy albums. He is currently focused on acting and putting aside his stand-up.
Silverstein was a known chain smoker of Marlboro Light cigarettes, sometimes smoking two packs or more a day and also chain smoking during his stand up comedy performances. During stand up shows he utilizes a glass of water as an ashtray. He has since given up smoking, although retains it for his act.

Biography
Silverstein was married to Kathy Swanson from 1984 until their divorce in 1986. He married Kathleen "Trini" Monica, a waitress, in 1992, with whom he broke up in 2002 and subsequently divorced. He and Monica had two sons, Maxwell Lee and Dillon Scott. The name Dillon sometimes appears in print as Dylan. Clay married Valerie Vasquez in Las Vegas on February 14, 2010, and separated in Los Angeles a little over 4 years later on March 18, 2014, announcing the following month they were divorcing but maintaining a relationship. Vincent "Vince" Chase, who separated from his wife after nine days of marriage, wants to do something new in his career. He calls his former agent-turned-studio head Ari Gold, who offers Vince a leading role in his first studio production. Vince says he will only star in it if he directs. Eight months later, Hyde, the directorial debut by Vince, is in the middle of post-production and is over budget by $15 million. Needing more money, Vince asks Ari if they can get an additional $10 million to complete the movie. Reluctant, but wanting to please him, Ari flies to Texas to meet the co-financiers of the movie; Larsen McCredle and his son Travis to give them the money. The majority of the film consists of Randy, Carl, and Dehling reciting their separate lovesick accounts of their experiences with Jewel, each narrating over what they consider to be the real version of the recent events. Scenes are often re-enacted twice, with different accounts contradicting each other for comedic effect. For example, when Dehling is narrating, he acts as if he were a completely fair, by-the-book police officer, and Randy is painted as a slimy, macho, abusive thug. When Randy is telling the story, he is the innocent victim and Dehling is shown as a suspicious, prying, hard-nosed cop; Carl is convinced that every woman is in love with him, and during his version of the tale, everyone acts accordingly.

Fictional television station WIDB-TV (channel 8) experiences problems with its late-night airing of science-fiction classic Amazon Women on the Moon, a 1950s B movie in which Queen Lara (Sybil Danning) and Captain Nelson (Steve Forrest) battle exploding volcanoes and man-eating spiders on the moon. Waiting for the film to resume, an unseen viewer begins channel surfing—simulated by bursts of white noise—through late night cable, with the various segments and sketches of the film representing the programming found on different channels. The viewer intermittently returns to channel 8, where Amazon Women continues to resume airing before faltering once more.
