Andrew Jordan Jones (born January 15, 1948) is a Canadian comedian, and a former member of CODCO.

Andy Jones was born in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador. He is the brother of comedienne Cathy Jones and filmmaker Michael Jones.

Jones wrote for one season of The Kids in the Hall, and played a small role in their film Brain Candy.

Jones also starred in, co-wrote, and co-directed the 1986 feature film The Adventure of Faustus Bidgood.

Jones played "Phonse" and starred with William Hurt in the 2001 film Rare Birds.

Since 1983 he has written, starred in and toured 5 one-man comedy shows.

In July 2006 he opened an exhibit at "THE ROOMS" museum in St. John's called "The Spirit in the House". A part of the "Intangible Evidence" exhibit.

Jones often writes children's books based on Newfoundland Folktales. His book Jack and Mary in the Land of Thieves won the Winterset Award in March 2013, and Jack, the King of Ashes was a shortlisted nominee for the Governor General's Award for English-language children's illustration at the 2015 Governor General's Awards.

Ray is a former ice hockey player who is convicted of drug charges for smuggling drugs following his first game in the NHL. After he comes back to his Newfoundland home, his wife Lillian leaves to seek fame in Hollywood with another man. Ray is left with his daughters, high schooler Ruby and her 11-year-old sister Rose. Ray pursues a homosexual relationship with gym teacher James, while avoiding the advances of Jennifer. After Ruby catches her father with James, she explorers her sexuality with newly arrived American student Will, her best friend Laura, and Ray's best friend Stuart. Stuart is a paraplegic, shot in a hunting accident by Ray (causing Ray to import the drugs to help Stuart make money). The drama examines the dynamic of the strained and uncertain relationships of all parties.

For several generations the Parks family lived on a quiet hillside where Katelyn's grandfather and her father (Mike Daly) were keepers to the town's lighthouse. At the age of ten, Katelyn watched her mom enter the basement in their lighthouse home where minutes later she was brutally beaten and found dying on the floor. Natalie Haddad (Kyra Sedgwick) is a talented photographer living in New York. She is undergoing a financial crisis. Her friend Julia (Stockard Channing) finds a two-day job in Boston for US$20,000.00, for her which Natalie had to accept. Upon her arrival at Boston, she finds that her arrogant gay brother Roy (Kiefer Sutherland), a successful designer, had hired her. Their relationship was broken 10 years earlier and since then they had not seen each other. When Natalie finishes her assignment, her brother Roy asks her to stay for the next day. He had organised a birthday party for himself. After the brthday Party Roy tells her that he is suffering from AIDS. Although Roy is insufferably snobbish and manipulative, he manages to exert a curious control over Natalie, forcing her to confront several disturbing, long-suppressed memories of her past (shown in black-and-white flashbacks). She agreed to stay with him and in due course of time their fraternal relationship develops again.

Dave (Hurt) has had some bad luck recently. His wife (McCarthy) lives in Washington, DC, his restaurant, the Auk is not doing good business. Phonse (Jones) helps Dave by making up a story about a rare bird (Tasker’s Sulphureous) sighting which begins to help Dave's business. Phonse has been working on a prototype Recreational Submarine Vehicle (RSV) and is concerned that the Winnebago company is conducting industrial espionage and trying to steal his plans. Phonse also finds ten kilos of cocaine and tries to get rid of it with the help of Dave. Dave falls in love with Alice (Parker), Phonse's sister-in-law, a girl from Gull Tickle.
