Bey Logan (born 15 November 1961) is an expert on East Asian cinema, particularly Hong Kong action cinema. He is also notable as a screenwriter, film producer and as a martial artist (trained in Hung Gar) who has had (mostly minor) roles in a number of films, including the 2003 Dante Lam film The Twins Effect and the 2014 Teddy Chen actioner 'Kung Fu Jungle'.
He has written a book – Hong Kong Action Cinema, an introduction to the subject. Logan was a founder and editor of Impact magazine, and has provided audio commentaries for over 120 East Asian films released on DVD. He is also an international representative of the Wong Fei Hung Museum in Foshan, Guangdong.
Logan has also worked as a producer on such films as The Twins Effect, Dragon Squad, Blood Bond, Beach Spike, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2: Green Destiny and Lady Bloodfight.
In his late 20s, Bey learned he is the son of Adelaide-based lawyer David Gilfillan and Cherie Ceberano. He has a number of Australian half-siblings, including legendary Aussie songstress Kate Ceberano. His step-father is Australian karate pioneer Tino Ceberano.
He has been based in Hong Kong since 1993. In 1996 he married Ponnie Leung, and they had three children together (Ryan, Calvin and Kyle) before getting divorced in 2004 . He now has twins, a boy and girl (Sean and Taia) with Hong Kong-based lawyer Elizabeth Yang.

Interpol agent Wang Sun-Ho states that this is his first mission in a messy laundry hallway filled with fluff as if a gunfight had taken place there. The start shows a team of young INTERPOL agents arriving in Hong Kong to give testimony against recently captured crime boss Tiger Duen. Among the agents are Officer Wang Sun-Ho, an ex-SWAT officer trained in the United States, two HKPD officers Hung Kei Lok and Pak Yat Suet, ex-PLA sniper Luo Zai-Jun, and ex-SAS operator James "Jie" Lam. They are greeted by Hon Sun, the one in charge of the case. However the escort of Tiger turns into a situation as the older Duen brother Panther Duen plans to rescue Tiger. The rescue attempt is aborted when the agents mistake an innocent civilian as the criminal attempting to break Tiger free and also discover that the convoy they are guarding is a decoy. Panther pulls out and disappears.

In 1991, Hong Kong police inspector Wong Chi-shing (Anthony Wong) meets with his informant, Hon Sam (Eric Tsang), while Lau Kin-ming (Edison Chen), Hon's prospective mole within the Royal Hong Kong Police Force, assassinates Hon's triad boss, Ngai Kwun. Dans une Chine déchirée par des guerres désastreuses entre les différentes écoles d'arts martiaux, Hadès Dai, le seigneur de l'école du "Lotus de l'Ouest", poussé par les visions d'une sorcière, cherche à s'emparer de l'épée "Destinée" afin d'obtenir le pouvoir suprême. Le Seigneur Dai envoie alors le jeune Wei Fang à Pékin pour dérober l'épée dans le palais du Seigneur Tié qui vient de décéder. Wei Fang est battu, puis emprisonné par Yu Shu Lien et son élève, la jeune Vase de neige. Yu Shu Lien comprend dès lors qu'il lui faut rassembler les derniers adeptes de l'école du "Sentier de Fer" qui se sont toujours battus pour le code, le devoir et l'honneur. Cinq guerriers du Jiang hu la rejoignent : Loup silencieux, l'homme auquel elle avait jadis été promise et qu'elle croyait mort, Lame volante, Chan Poing de Tonnerre, Shi Fléchettes d'argent et Ma Tortue. Lorsque les troupes du "Lotus de l'Ouest" pénètrent de nuit dans le palais, Vase de neige libère Wei Fang qui s'empare alors de l'épée légendaire pour la ramener à Hadès Dai. Cependant, agenouillé devant le seigneur Dai, Wei Fang brandit l'épée "Destinée" et tente de le tuer afin de venger la mort de sa mère, la guerrière renégate Han Mei, dont la véritable histoire lui avait été dévoilée par Vase de neige qui fut son élève. En mauvaise posture, Wei Fang est secouru par Loup silencieux, Yu Shu Lien et deux autres guerriers. Au cours d'un duel sanglant, Loup silencieux finit par tuer Hadès Dai. Yu Shu Lien emporte alors l'épée "Destinée", qui suscite tant de convoitises et provoque tant de morts, aux Monts Wudang.
