Il est particulièrement connu pour ses travaux sur The Ring, Mr. et Mrs. Smith, ou encore Lone Ranger, naissance d'un héros. Il a aussi réalisé le clip de Mariah Carey, Vision of Love.
Bazelli reçut un Independent's Spirit Award en 1990 pour son travail sur The King of New York. Il a reçu un Clio Award de la meilleure photographie en 1998, et le film Kalifornia a reçu le prix de la Meilleure photographie au Festival de Montréal.

Biography
Bojan Bazelli a fait ses études à la FAMU de Prague. Impressionné par un des films d'étudiants de Bazelli, le réalisateur Abel Ferrara recruta ce dernier pour le tournage de son film China Girl, à New York. Bojan Bazelli continua à travailler avec Abel Ferrara par la suite, pour les films The King of New York et Body Snatchers. Il est un des rares directeurs de la photographie contemporains à avoir exercé cette fonction directement, sans commencer par d'autres rôles moins importants.Bazelli reçut un Independent's Spirit Award en 1990 pour son travail sur The King of New York. Il a reçu un Clio Award de la meilleure photographie en 1998, et le film Kalifornia a reçu le prix de la Meilleure photographie au Festival de Montréal.

The film revolves around a special team of trained secret agent animals, equipped with advanced tools that allows the mammalian members to talk to humans. The primary field team consists of guinea pigs Darwin (team leader), Juarez (martial arts), and Blaster (weapons/transportation), star-nosed mole Speckles (cyber intelligence) and fly Mooch (reconnaissance). The unit's leader Ben, orders an unauthorised infiltration of the residence of home electronics and appliances magnate, Leonard Saber, the owner of Saberling Technology, who has been under FBI investigation. The team is able to retrieve sensitive information about a sinister scheme that is set to occur in 48 hours. However, when Ben's superior arrives for his evaluation, his astonishment at the team's capabilities and technology is overcome by his indignation at Ben's unauthorized mission and the fact that the downloaded intelligence appears to be useless information about Saber's coffee makers. As a result, the government agent orders the unit shut down, the equipment seized and the animals to be used as experimental subjects to be killed. With the help of their human compatriots, Darwin, Juarez, Blaster, Mooch and Speckles escape with hopes of stopping Saber's scheme, but find themselves in a pet carrying case bound for a pet shop.

Agoraphobic children's book illustrator Meredith Cole is unable to leave her own home, and since her husband leaves, she decides to place an ad in the paper for someone to rent her guest bedroom. Jane Caswell rents the room, whilst her alleged brother Pete Caswell soon joins the household too, although it becomes clear that they are both not what they seem. Jane claims she's a vet and her brother claims he's a cop. Things go to extremes when Cole finds evidence of their criminal activity, leading the two young psychos-in-love to terrorize her. Frank White, a drug lord, is riding into New York in a limousine after being released from Sing Sing.
