Brasse Brännström (real name Lars Erik Brännström; 27 February 1945 – 29 August 2014) was a Swedish actor.
As young Brännström attended Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm. He became famous through TV together with Magnus Härenstam and Lasse Hallström, in 1970 they made their first TV-program Oj är det redan fredag. During the 1980s, Brännström managed Maximteatern in Stockholm together with Härenstam, Lill Lindfors and Aller Johansson; their company was called Limabrall.

Annika Bengtzon, an up-and-coming young reporter for Kvällspressens newspaper, is called to the scene of a possible terrorist attack on the new Olympic Arena, Victoria Stadium in Stockholm, where the northern part of the arena has been blown to pieces. The blast kills Christina Furhage, the Swedish Olympic ambassador, and Bengtzon soon finds out that the bombing may have been a personal attack against Furhage and not a terrorist attack. Soon more Olympic Arenas around Stockholm are attacked and there are more victims, just months away from the Summer Olympics. A bomber with a personal agenda is on the loose.

The action takes place in the years 1958-1959 in Sweden. Troubled 12-year-old Ingemar (Anton Glanzelius) gets into all sorts of trouble, which drives his mother (Anki Lidén) crazy; Ingemar does not know that his mother is in fact terminally ill. When he and his older brother become too much for her, they are split up and sent to live with relatives. Ingemar ends up with his maternal uncle Gunnar (von Brömssen) and his wife Ulla (Kicki Rundgren) in a small rural town in Småland.
