Bruce Michael Byron is an English actor best known for his role as DC Terry Perkins in The Bill. He originally followed a career in music, and he started acting at 20.
He moved to Australia drilling for oil and gas in the Cooper Basin, then came back to England but could not get a place at drama school. Eventually, he was accepted for ARTTS International in Bubwith, East Riding of Yorkshire.
Films he has appeared in include The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc, The Mummy Returns and From Hell. He also appeared in Heartbeat in 1998 and as Gary Bolton in EastEnders in 2001.
He married Dr Tanya Byron (presenter of BBC's Little Angels and The House of Tiny Tearaways and daughter of director John Sichel) in Barnet, London in 1997. He has two children with her: Lily (born 1995, Hendon, London) and Jack (born 1998, Barnet).
Byron also appeared in The Bill for several years. Byron played Phil Dans in Casualty on 10 March 2012, series 26; episode 26 and episode 31.

Davey Graham (Jonathan Rhys-Meyers) arrives at an upper class party to sell drugs to a woman named Stella. As he leaves, Stella's date watches him and makes a call on his cell phone. The opening of the film shows us a montage of Adolf Hitler's life from the years 1899-1907. The 10-year old Hitler (Thomas Sangster) is shown to be arrogant and disobedient. He has a stern, ill-tempered father, Alois Hitler (Ian Hogg), and a doting mother, Klara Hitler (Stockard Channing), who indulges his dreams of becoming a great artist. One day, his father dies of a heart attack but the young Hitler shows no empathy or concern. Seven years later, a 17-year old Hitler (Simon Sullivan) applies unsuccessfully to the Vienna Arts Academy but is told he lacks the talent to become an artist. Following his mother’s death, he moves to Vienna permanently but is unable to find work and soon becomes destitute and homeless. Influenced by the city’s prevalent anti-semitism, young Hitler becomes convinced that the Jews and immigrants are to blame for his misfortunes.

The story begins in 1860 in Basin Field, a small (fictional) village on the slopes of the great mountains that border Canada in the "Far West."
