Carlos Gomez (born January 1, 1962) is an American actor.
He has, among other roles, guest-starred as a repeating support villain on the hit television show Charmed as the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) Internal Affairs Department Inspector (and undercover demon) Rodriguez pressuring the regular character Andy Trudeau. He first appeared in the 20th episode of the first season "The Power of Two", and his final appearance was in the 22nd episode of the season (its finale) "Deja Vu All Over Again".
He has also starred alongside Salma Hayek in two films, the first being Desperado, where he plays the Right Hand of Bucho, the man Antonio Banderas spends the film looking for, and also, in Fools Rush In, where he plays Salma's ex-boyfriend, Chuy. Carlos can also be seen in the CBS drama Shark, where he plays Mayor Manny Delgado, alongside James Woods and Jeri Ryan.
Gomez appeared in the 2008 Broadway musical In the Heights as Kevin, and was a cast member of the A&E television series The Glades for all four seasons. He also played the part of officer Navarro in the Criminal Minds episode "Machismo."
He also appeared in season 3 of the NBC sitcom Friends episode titled "The One with All the Jealousy", and in season 3 of the Fox drama 24.

Carlos was born in New York to Latino American parents, the son of Cora Gomez. He is a versatile character actor who has starred in both film and the small screen since the late 1980s. His first part in a film came in the form of a dancer looking to make it big in "Dance to Win (1989)". Lukas (Mark Webber) is a young man who works as a tollbooth operator. He does not have much of a social life and spends much of his free time visiting his catatonic mother in the hospital. One day, one of the tollbooth customers tosses him a copy of Hitler's Mein Kampf, and Lukas reads it, prompting a Holocaust survivor (Allan Rich) to berate Lukas as he drives through Lukas's booth. The next day the old man gives him a videotape containing his testimony from the concentration camps. Watching the tape, Lukas becomes captivated, not less so when he spots the old man's obituary in the newspaper, and decides to attend the funeral. He is confronted by Mira (Rachel Miner), a young medical student, for attending a funeral without knowing the deceased. They argue. Lukas shows her the witness tape.

The film begins as an autobiographical look at Shore's early professional successes on MTV and as the star of a series of 90s comedies. Kyle LeBlanc (Van Damme) is an American working overseas in Russia. When he hears his wife being attacked over the phone, Kyle rushes home to find that he is too late. The man who has killed his wife is found not guilty on lack of evidence (but in fact because the defense bought the judge). Kyle, therefore, takes the law into his own hands and kills the man to avenge his wife's death, and for this he is sentenced to life in prison without parole. Four retired mobsters (Richard Dreyfuss, Burt Reynolds, Dan Hedaya and Seymour Cassel) plan one last crime to save their apartment at a retirement home (the owners are forcing them out with a rent increase so that the apartments can be rented to young, affluent South Beach couples). The four steal a corpse from the mortuary to use as the "victim" in a staged murder scene. Unknown to them, the body belonged to the head of a Colombian drug smuggling ring. As a result of the "murder", many of the young renters leave and the four men are given cash and a rent discount by the complex to keep living there. Much of this money is spent on high living and women, which causes a young woman (Jennifer Tilly) to discover that the four men staged the murder - while spending time with the normally-silent "Mouth," he reveals that his mouth is loosened by intimacy with women.

In the 1990s, U.S. National Security Agency official Thomas Bryan Reynolds (Jon Voight) meets with congressman Phil Hammersley (R-NY) (Jason Robards) in a public park to discuss support for new counter-terrorism legislation the U.S. Congress is pushing that dramatically expands the surveillance powers of intelligence agencies on individuals and groups. Hammersley remains committed to blocking its passage, since he believes it would almost totally destroy the privacy of American citizens. Reynolds has his team murder Hammersley, spread heart pills over his car, place him in the car and push it in a lake to make it look like he had a heart attack. In the aftermath, they discover too late that wildlife researcher Daniel Zavits (Jason Lee) had a camera aimed in the woods at their location. Zavits inspects the footage, transfers the video to an innocuous video game disc and flees the apartment ahead of Reynolds's team.

During an orchestrated drug bust at a marine loading dock, Detective Stan Zedkov (Michael Rooker) kills Triad lieutenant Peter Wei (Yau-Gene Chan).
