Charlie Barnett (September 23, 1954 – March 16, 1996) was an American actor and comedian.
Biography
Barnett a été élevé par sa grand-mère, parce que son père souffrait d'une maladie mentale et sa mère une d'addiction à l'alcool. À 11 ans, il quitte sa ville de Bluefield pour rejoindre sa mère à Boston. Mais leur relation se détériore à tel point qu'au bout d'un an elle le met à la porte, le livrant ainsi à une vie au milieu de gangs, de crime et de drogue. À 19 ans, Barnett rejoint New York pour suivre des cours de comédie. En 1979, il décroche une audition pour Saturday Night Live mais on lui préfèrera un autre jeune comédien Eddie Murphy. Il va se faire un nom en participant à des spectacles de rue. Il fut l'un des rares à pouvoir remplir l'amphithéâtre La Fontaine dans le Washington Square Park. À partir de 1984, il participera à 6 épisodes de Deux Flics à Miami. Ensuite il apparaitra dans 4 autres films.Ayant contracté le SIDA à cause de la drogue, Charlie Barnett s'éteint le 16 mars 1996 à New York.

Jenn, a yoga instructor, and Matt, a comic book store worker, are best friends from college who are now single and in their 30s. In agreement with a pact they made in their youth, the two decide to have a baby ("gayby") together, even though Jenn is straight and Matt is gay. Jenn's grandmother set her up with a trust fund for if she ever had a child, so Jenn is confident that she and Matt will have the finances to have one. However, Jenn states that she wants to have a baby through natural conception, so the two begin awkwardly having sex. Meanwhile, Jenn is concerned with the stunted life she is living, treated as an underling at her yoga studio. Matt is recovering from a devastating break up with his partner of six years, Tom, who is a rising comic book publisher. Matt finds difficulty in getting back into the dating game and finds himself constantly avoiding awkward run-ins with Tom.

Naive but good natured young man Albert Hockenberry (Baldwin) arrives in Washington, D.C. with plans to work for his late father's army buddy Harold (Gail), owner of the run-down District of Columbia Cab company.
