Charles Tahan (born December 21, 1996), also known as Charlie Tahan, is an American actor.

Biography

Tahan was born and raised in Glen Rock, New Jersey. His sister is actress Daisy Tahan, and he has an older brother named Willie as well. Tahan portrayed Ethan in I Am Legend, appeared in Burning Bright, co-starred with Zac Efron in the 2010 film Charlie St. Cloud, and also lent his voice to Frankenweenie. He also has a recurring role as Calvin Arliss in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Tahan also played the role of William Woolf in the movie The Other Woman, with Scott Cohen and Natalie Portman.

Emilia Greenleaf's life is turned upside down when she begins an affair with married high-powered attorney Jack Woolf and learns she is pregnant. Emilia thinks that this is purely out of spite. Now she must come to terms with her stepson, William (Tahan), who upsets her with constant references to her dead baby (including saying that under the terms of Jewish law, Isabel did not live long enough to be considered a full human being). Emilia's efforts to bond with William do not go well and succeed only in making both Carolyn and Jack think less of her.

The film opens with a man driving a circus trailer down a silent road. He meets up with another man, John Gaveneau (Garret Dillahunt), and it is revealed that he is attempting to purchase a bengal tiger for the creation of a "Safari Ranch". Initially not believing the tiger looks dangerous or exciting enough, the seller tells him a gruesome story and claims that the tiger is evil. However, Kelly's check is rejected and when she phones her bank she is informed that John withdrew all the money and closed the account.
