Claudio Amendola (born Rome, 16 February 1963) is an Italian actor, television presenter and director.

He is son to the actor and voice dubber Ferruccio Amendola and the actress and voice dubber Rita Savagnone. His daughter is voice dubber Alessia Amendola and his wife is actress Francesca Neri. He starred in the 1993 film The Escort, which was entered into the 1993 Cannes Film Festival.

Biography

Claudio Amendola est le fils des acteurs et doubleurs Ferruccio Amendola et Rita Savagnone. Il est marié à l'actrice Francesca Neri. Il est notamment remarqué en France pour avoir joué le rôle de Coconas dans le film La Reine Margot, de Patrice Chéreau et celui de Joachim Murat dans Napoléon, une mini-série historique.

À Rome, à la sortie d’une boite de nuit, un adolescent trouve la mort dans un accident de voiture. Caterina (Alice Teghil) is the 13-year-old only child of Giancarlo Iacovoni (Sergio Castellitto), an aspiring novelist and teacher of accounting at a country school in an area north of Rome that one character describes as "hillbilly country."
