Claudio Gioè (born 27 January 1975 in Palermo, Italy), is an Italian actor of the cinema, theatre and television.

Gioè made his acting debut in the 1997 film "Qui" and has since performed in many other films such as "I cento passi" ("One Hundred Steps"), "La meglio gioventù" ("The Best of Youth"), "Operazione Odissea" and "La matassa". Gioè, however is best known to Italian viewers for his portrayal of Mafia boss Salvatore Riina in the 2007 television miniseries "Capo dei Capi" ("Boss of Bosses"). It was aired by Canale 5 in six parts.

In 2009 Gioè had a starring role in another Mafia-related television miniseries "Squadra antimafia- Palermo oggi"
as vicequestore Ivan Di Meo. One of his co-stars is actress Simona Cavallari. In 2010, he starred in the sequel "Squadra antimafia - Palermo oggi 2".

Gioè starred as a young priest with psychic powers in the popular Canale 5 miniseries Il tredicesimo apostolo which was aired in January and February 2012.

The Best of Youth is a family saga set in Italy from 1966 through 2003. It chronicles the life of an Italian family, the Caratis, but focuses primarily on two brothers, Matteo (Alessio Boni) and Nicola (Luigi Lo Cascio), documenting their journey from the prime of their wild youth in the mid-1960s counterculture, to parenthood and retirement in the early 2000s. The film opens with Peppino as a small child singing the popular song “Nel blu, dipinto di blu” with his brother in the back seat of a car on the way to a family gathering. The family is one of good standing in the social community and they are celebrating the fact that they have such a good life. In this scene the relationship between Peppino and his uncle Cesare is established. His uncle is a Don or Mafia boss in the small town of Cinisi where the story is set. In a scene soon after the happy family gathering we see don Cesare blown up by a car bomb which was planted by a rival Mafia boss. This ends Peppino’s time of innocence. Even as a small child he is thrust into the realities of life in the Mafia.
