Craig Eric Sheffer (born April 23, 1960) is an American film and television actor. He is known for his leading roles as Norman Maclean in the film A River Runs Through It and Aaron Boone/Cabal in the film Nightbreed, as well as his character Keith Scott on the television series One Tree Hill.

The film begins with a voice-over by "Barek" who refers to a pagan legend. According to the saga Odin was spurned by Brunhilda. The irate pagan god chained her to an altar in Asgard, surrounded by a ring of eternal fire. He decreed that only a pure-hearted man could overcome the supernatural flames and save the alluring valkyrie. Her saviour's fate should then be connected to hers forever. As Barek explains, he and his only brother learned about this as little boys and craved more and more to rescue the legendary beauty as they grew older.

Dr. Alice Dodgson (Jennifer Grey) is a failed physician that travels to Jamaica to care for Wesley Claybourne (Daniel Lapaine), a young man apparently suffering from encephalitis. Because she had been fired due to her actions resulting in the death of a patient, Alice has few options left and decides that she is willing to serve as Wesley's nurse. While in Jamaica Alice begins to fall for Wesley and starts to suspect that she and Wesley are the targets of a voodoo cult. She manages to befriend Caro (Kristen Wilson), a local girl that recommends that Alice not get overly involved with the rumors of voodoo and to overly mind her own business, since it's likely that if anyone is after Alice then it's because she is interfering. As things grow more tense, the viewers learn that Caro is behind all of the strange things going on and that she was seeking revenge due to Wesley's father killing her mother and denying that he fathered Caro, thus leaving her unable to inherit anything from him. Ultimately Caro managed to paralyze Alice and is about to turn her into a zombie, only for Alice to reveal that she was not completely paralyzed and causes Caro's plan to backfire, turning Caro into a zombie instead. Alice and Wesley then move back to the US and find jobs, whilst the local Police Chief takes the now zombie Caro home and puts her in his bed.

The film opens in Los Angeles International Airport where fans and haters of heavy metal singer Slade Craven (John Mann) gather up. Craven will perform his farewell concert on a Boeing 747 operated TransCon Airlines flight 619, which will be flying from Los Angeles to Toronto, and the concert is scheduled to be broadcast over the internet. The FAA has received threats that they had better allow this concert to take place. Erica Black (Monika Schnarre) is a news anchor who is on the airplane with her cameraman Ethan (Ben Derrick), covering the concert. The fans board the plane and later Craven and his band get on while the crew checks everything. During the safety demonstration, the fans do not pay attention and they cheer saying Craven many times. There are several shots of people cheering, and also some close-ups as well. The faces of the stewardesses are shown and it is clear that they are frustrated. After a series of Amazonian Indian attacks on US owned petroleum installation in Brazil, both governments start a secret 'special program'.
