Dani Kind vit à Toronto en Ontario, où elle travaille comme actrice. Elle a commencé sa carrière d'actrice à l'école secondaire et a rejoint une équipe d'improvisation. Au collège, elle a étudié et obtenu un diplôme en arts du théâtre et joué dans de nombreuses productions. Dani a vécu à Montréal. Summer (Ashley Greene) has run away from home and is searching for her father who had abandoned her and her mother when she was very young. A policeman catches her red-handed while she is attempting to steal from a store. She escapes from the policeman with the help of stranger, Tom (Peter Mooney). She hooks up with him for a one-night stand and to her horror, he and his mother happen to be psychopaths. Tom catches young girls off-guard and brings them down to his basement where he has a human garden which is horrific. Here he subjects them to inhuman torture if the girls try to escape. Summer tries to escape, but cannot and decides it is better to gain Tom's trust. During the course of her stay, Tom's father comes home and she finds out he is her father also. But her long awaited fairytale reunion is marred by the cold-hearted father who rapes her. Tom is shot by his father when he decides to intervene,and his mother. Her father takes her away to a secluded area where there is only a woman, whom he plans to rape and kill, but when he is distracted, Summer manages to sneak up and kill him.

The Jersey Devil appears in quick flash glimpses in the very beginning of the film as he growls. After Cap (Alan C. Peterson) kills the man who sold him the Jersey Devil, Cap and his assistant attempted to bring the Jersey Devil into the carnival of the truck. Cap shoots him with a tranquilizer dart to calm the Jersey Devil down. However, as Cap's assistant heaves on the Jersey Devil in chains, he slashes at his eye, causing it to bleed. Cap eventually shoots the Jersey Devil with more tranquilizer darts which causes the Jersey Devil to finally pass out.
