Darby Stanchfield (born 29 April 1971) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Abby Whelan in the ABC political drama series, Scandal (2012-present). Stanchfield is also known for roles as April Green in the CBS post-apocalyptic drama series, Jericho (2006-2007), and as Helen Bishop in the AMC period drama series, Mad Men (2007-2008).

Darby grandit en Alaska où son père était pêcheur. Elle déménage ensuite à Dutch Harbor dans les Îles Aléoutiennes, puis à Mercer Island près de Seattle. Jenna (Keri Russell) is a waitress living in the American South, trapped in an unhappy marriage with controlling bully Earl (Jeremy Sisto). She works in Joe's Pie Diner, where her job includes creating inventive pies with unusual titles inspired by her life, such as the "Bad Baby Pie" she invents after her unwanted pregnancy is confirmed. The waitresses show up late for work, talk on the phone, spend much time with personal business, and talk back to the boss. Jenna longs to run away from her dismal marriage, and is slowly accumulating money to do so. A single mother whose faith in love died with her former husband learns that Christmas miracles can still happen in director Harvey Frost's warmhearted tale of winter magic. The holiday season is here, and in order to sell the latest in video game technology, Beth's campaign needs the perfect Santa Claus.
