Darrell Ray Larson (born December 13, 1950) is an American film and television actor perhaps best known for his work as a dead local politician on the 1990 action/comedy film Men at Work. His work included roles in such films as The Student Nurses (1970), Kotch (1971), The Magnificent Seven Ride (1972), Futureworld (1976) and Partners (1982). He had a prominent role in the 1984 film Mike's Murder, and a small part in the 1996 film Eye for an Eye. Larson's television guest star appearances include Matlock, Designing Women, L.A. Law, Morningstar/Eveningstar, and Diagnosis Murder. He also appeared in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Kym (Anne Hathaway) is released from drug rehab for a few days so she can go home to attend the wedding of her sister Rachel (Rosemarie DeWitt). At home, the atmosphere is strained between Kym and her family members as they struggle to reconcile themselves with her past and present. Kym's father (Bill Irwin) shows intense concern for her well-being and whereabouts, which Kym interprets as mistrust. She also resents her sister's choice of her best friend Emma (Anisa George), rather than Kym, to be her maid of honor. Rachel, for her part, resents the attention her sister's drug addiction is drawing away from her wedding, a resentment that comes to a head at the rehearsal dinner, where Kym, amid toasts from friends and family, takes the microphone to offer an apology for her past actions, as part of her twelve-step program.

"Bernie" LaPlante is a pickpocket and petty criminal who anonymously rescues survivors of an aircraft crash, in order to steal some of their purses and wallets – losing a shoe in the process. He later meets a homeless Vietnam veteran, John Bubber, tells him about the rescue at the crash site and gives him his remaining shoe. When a television station offers $1 million to the "Angel of Flight 104", Bernie cannot claim the reward, due to his arrest while fencing credit cards he stole from the people he rescued. Bubber, however, uses the single shoe to take credit for the act. Bernie tries to tell people that Bubber is a fake, but the media has sensationalized the heroic Bubber, and everyone wants to believe in him rather than Bernie.

Rev.
