David Cross (born April 4, 1964) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and voice artist, known primarily for his standup work, the HBO sketch comedy series Mr. Show, and his role as Tobias Fünke in the sitcom Arrested Development. Cross created, wrote, executive produced, and starred in The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, developed and had a prominent role in Freak Show, appeared on Modern Family, portrayed Ian Hawke in the Alvin and the Chipmunks film franchise, and voiced Crane in the Kung Fu Panda film franchise.
In August 2011, after 2 years of dating, Cross became engaged to Amber Tamblyn. The couple wed on October 6, 2012.
On September 26, 2013, Kickstarter co-founder Yancey Strickler revealed that Cross was the first investor in the crowdfunding platform. Strickler included Cross among the "friends and family" who first financed Kickstarter in 2006.

En 1965, l'analyste Daniel Ellsberg se rend sur le front de la guerre du Viêt Nam pour y observer l'avancement des troupes américaines, pour le compte du secrétaire à la Défense, Robert McNamara. En 1971, Daniel Ellsberg travaille désormais pour RAND Corporation. Il décide de photocopier secrètement des rapports sur le progrès du conflit au Viêt Nam, depuis la présidence de Harry S. Truman à 1967, révélant le double discours des différentes administrations américaines sur les chances de victoire des États-Unis au Vietnam. Les gouvernements successifs ont ainsi caché au peuple américain la réalité de l'enlisement du conflit. Daniel Ellsberg divulgue alors des informations au New York Times. Le journal est cependant mis en garde par la justice, sous la pression du président Richard Nixon, sur les conséquences de la publication d'informations nationales classées secrètes. D'abord sur la touche, le Washington Post va récupérer le scoop grâce à la motivation de son rédacteur en chef, Benjamin Bradlee. Ce dernier va inciter la directrice du journal, Katharine Graham, à publier les fameux Pentagon Papers. Mais cette dernière doit aussi faire face à son conseil d'administration et à la future entrée en bourse de son journal. Le film s'achève sur l'arrêt de la Cour Suprême New York Times Co. v. United States, dans lequel les équipes du Washington Post s'alignent avec celles du New York Times parmi les parties convoquées, ce qui ouvre la voie sur la scène finale, montrant le Watergate de nuit, théâtre du scandale du Watergate, démarré en 1972 et qui mettra fin à la présidence Nixon en 1974.

Three years after the events of Pitch Perfect, the Barden Bellas are now led by Beca Mitchell (Anna Kendrick) and three-time super senior Chloe Beale (Brittany Snow). An opening prologue set years before the events of the first film tells that Lord Shen, the scion of a peacock clan that rules Gongmen City in ancient China, seeks to harness fireworks as a weapon. For their first day on the job as the new protectors of Metro City after defeating the deranged villain Tighten, Megamind and Minion are selling off their gadgets from their evil lair to the citizens for good purposes (such as the Boot Wheel of Death being sold to a soccer mom, who intends to use it for practice with her soccer team and the Flamethrower being sold to a chef, who intends to use it for cooking his meals). All of their items get sold (except for the death ray which Megamind used to "kill" Metro Man in the original film). As for the De-Gun (Megamind's weapon of choice used for a number of different destructive functions) it gets sold to a boy named Damien, who accidentally uses it (in its dehydration mode) on his mother and turns her into a cube. Megamind tells Damien to soak the cube in water to get her back to normal, but unknown to Megamind, Damien decides not to do it and instead revels in his freedom from his mother. After the auction is over, Megamind reveals a suit he created that contains all of Metro Man's powers, which he will wear to protect Metro City.
