David Jackson (15 July 1934 – 25 July 2005) was a British actor best known for his role as Olag Gan in the first two seasons of Blake's 7 and as Detective Constable Braithwaite in Z-Cars from 1972 to 1978. He was born in Liverpool, Lancashire.

His other TV credits include The Saint, The Avengers, The Sweeney, Space: 1999, Minder (The Smaller They Are), Only Fools and Horses, Wyatt's Watchdogs, Edge of Darkness, Coronation Street and Lovejoy. His film credits include roles in 10 Rillington Place, Unman, Wittering and Zigo, Blood from the Mummy's Tomb, Night Watch, and the cult horror film Killer's Moon.

In 2002, he provided his voice talent to the audio drama Sarah Jane Smith: Comeback, part of the Doctor Who audio spin-offs by Big Finish Productions. Jackson was a science-fiction fan throughout his career and was happy to be associated with Blake's 7 years after the series ended.

In 1988 he showed his considerable comic talent in playing the Vicar alongside Brian Wilde in six episodes of the BBC1 sitcom Wyatt's Watchdogs. His great passion was for Victorian theatre and at one stage he produced and starred in a one-man show.

David Jackson died of a heart attack on 25 July 2005, aged 71. He left behind his wife Anne and 19-year-old son Stuart.

A coach full of schoolgirls breaks down in the Lake District, forcing the girls to take shelter for the night in a remote hotel. The film begins in 1944 with John Christie murdering his neighbor Muriel Eady: he lures her to his flat in 10 Rillington Place by promising to cure her bronchitis with a "special mixture", then incapacitates her with carbon monoxide gas, strangles her with a piece of rope, and has (implied) sex with her corpse. An expedition led by British archeologist Professor Fuchs (Keir) attempts to locate the cursed tomb of an evil Egyptian princess. Her body is found perfectly preserved. Set against the backdrop of New Mexico, the film follows a boy who moves because of his father's job and becomes involved with a group of teens attempting to preserve the buffalo and Navajo traditions. Along the way he makes friends and learns important lessons about life. The movie teaches about a few Navajo traditions. In the end the boy, Josh, while in a biking race learns that the nearby buffalo herd are stampeding and threatening his home town. Josh rallies both his friends and rivals to end the stampede. As a result, he is made an honorary member of the Navajo tribe and gains the name Rides With Wind while befriending his former enemy Thomas Blackhorse, forming a pact with him to keep the reservation safe for as long as they can.
