On the morning of his thirty-seventh birthday, Michael Brown (Adam Scott) receives a telephone call from his estranged drug addicted brother Tobey (Joel Bissonnette). The two travel in an old BMW across Los Angeles in search of Tobey’s “reason for living”, which Michael believes is something/someone deeply personal while Tobey is actually looking for cheap drugs. At various stops, Michael phones his girlfriend, leaving messages professing his love and a desire to spend his birthday together. Tobey eventually informs Michael that his own ex-girlfriend called recently, and the two plan to get married as soon as possible. The brothers’ search leads them through a bizarre, beautiful land filled with surprising, comical characters to a very unexpected and magical destination, complete with Michael's girlfriend and Tobey's fiancée.

Suck est un « road movie » qui raconte l’histoire d’un groupe rock, The Winners, qui est prêt à tout pour devenir populaire, et qui voit enfin la lumière au bout du tunnel lorsque leur bassiste, la jolie Jennifer est transformée en vampire. L’attrait qu’elle exerce sur les autres (et surtout le public) pousse les autres membres du groupe à vouloir devenir comme elle, ce qui contrarie le leader du band Joey, aussi l’ancien petit ami de Jennifer, qui ressent encore de l’affection pour elle.Un chasseur de vampires, est sur leurs traces, alors que le groupe voyage de Montréal à New York en passant par Toronto et d’autres villes du Canada et des États-Unis.
