Eric Harry Timothy Mabius (born April 22, 1971) is an American actor, known for his work as Daniel Meade on the ABC comedy-drama series Ugly Betty. He also worked on the Showtime series The L Word and in the films Cruel Intentions, The Crow: Salvation, and Resident Evil.
Mabius wed Ivy Sherman in January 2006; the two first met in high school during a health education class. They have two sons: Maxfield Elliot was born on June 24, 2006 and Rylan Jaxson was born on December 7, 2008.

Mabius was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the son of Elizabeth (née Dziczek) and Craig Mabius. His father worked as a historian preserving the Historic Allaire Village. He has a brother, Craig. Mabius is Roman Catholic. His mother is of Polish descent, while his father has Austrian and Irish ancestry. After attending Amherst Regional High School, in Amherst, Massachusetts, where he was voted "Most Dramatic Boy" as a senior, he enrolled in Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York, where he pursued studies in film.Mabius wed Ivy Sherman in January 2006; the two first met in high school during a health education class. Maggie (Bisset), a professor of English literature, is fast approaching her silver wedding anniversary. But her world is shattered upon discovering that her husband, Tom, has been repeatedly adulterous during their marriage and now intends to marry his younger mistress. When struggling Los Angeles actor Veronica finds herself simultaneously falling in love with a sensitive writer named Abel and an air-headed drummer named Zed, she initially tries to see them both without the other finding out, and then to choose between them. In Salt Lake City, Alex Corvis (Eric Mabius) is a death row convict framed for the murder of his girlfriend Lauren Randall (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe). Three years later, he is sentenced to death in the electric chair. When he is asked for his last words, he says he still loves Lauren and that he is innocent. However, the guards ignore his plea to live, and the switch is pulled. The generator is struck by lightning during the electrocution, overriding the electricity, and Alex suffers a painful, excruciating death. Soon after the execution, Alex is resurrected by a mystical crow and gifted with supernatural abilities, so he can clear his name and avenge Lauren's death. Alex follows the crow to the Salt Lake City police department's evidence room, where he discovers that Lauren was killed by a group of corrupt cops. Alex has a vision of one of the killers, who has a scar on his arm matching one he saw just before his execution. Alex finds the knife that was used on Lauren, and then goes to her grave. There, he meets with Lauren's sister Erin (Kirsten Dunst), who believes he is guilty. He tells her that he will prove his innocence, and disappears.

In an upscale New York City mansion, wealthy and popular Kathryn Merteuil (Gellar) is discussing her prep school with Mrs. Caldwell (Christine Baranski) and Caldwell's daughter Cecile (Selma Blair).
