Etsuko Shihomi (志穂美 悦子, Shihomi Etsuko), now known by her married name Etsuko Nagabuchi (長渕 悦子, Nagabuchi Etsuko), (born October 29, 1955 in Okayama City, Japan as Etsuko Shiomi (塩見 悦子, Shiomi Etsuko)) is a Japanese actress who appeared in several Japanese martial arts films of the 1970s and 80s. She was a member of Sonny Chiba's "Japan Action Club" and appeared in several films with Chiba, Hiroyuki Sanada and other members of the JAC. Her films include the Sister Street Fighter series (1974), Dragon Princess (1976), Message from Space (1978), Shogun's Ninja (1980), Roaring Fire (1982), and Legend of the Eight Samurai (1983).

She also had a singing career from 1975 to 1984, although her last solo album Three Dimension was also released on CD in 1985. Two books were released relating to her in the 1970 and 1980s.

She met singer-actor Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi on the set of the Otoko wa Tsurai yo film Tora-san's Bluebird Fantasy (1986), and retired from acting after marrying him the following year. Their daughter is actress Ayane Nagabuchi.

Since her retirement, she has returned to the public eye and has been involved in charity work. She has written books on flower arrangement, with the proceeds being donated to charities.

The story follows Princess Shizu (Hiroko Yakushimaru), her family slain and on the run from her enemies. To defeat the evil queen Tamazusa (Mari Natsuki) who killed her family, they must find all eight. But Shinbei hears of Princess Shizu's identity, and vows to collect the reward for capturing her.

The film opens with Kazuma Higaki (Sonny Chiba) and his daughter Yumi Higaki (Etsuko Shihomi) being attacked by a rival karate master, Hironobu Nikaido (Bin Amatsu) who wants Kazuma's job as top karate master. Nikaido teams up with four other masters and they manage to disable one of Kazuma's arms and wound his eye with a kunai knife. Alive but crippled Kazuma and Yumi retreat to New York where he trains his daughter to avenge him and the death of a friend. After her father's death, Yumi returns to Tokyo to take her revenge. She enters a karate tournament funded by a corrupt business man, but Nikaido, seeking to assure his student's supremacy in the coming fight, sends his four top fighters to wipe out the rest of the competition. Eventually, Yumi, with the help of another karate student, Masahiko Okizaki (Yasuaki Kurata) kills Nikaido and his minions. Her arm is permanently disabled, keeping her from continuing her karate but allowing her to continue on with the rest of her life.

The film begins as Takuma (Terry) Tsurugi meets the condemned murderer Tateki (Junjo) Shikenbaru while disguised as a Buddhist monk. Tsuguri applies his "oxygen coma punch" to Junjo, causing him to collapse just before he can be executed. As Junjo is rushed to a hospital, Tsurugi and his sidekick Rakuda (Ratnose) ambush the ambulance and free him. As Tsurugi and Ratnose watch the incident on the news, Junjo's brother Gijun and sister Nachi arrive and plead for more time to pay for Tsurugi's help. Outraged, Tsurugi refuses and attacks the siblings. Gijun accidentally kills himself when Tsurugi dodges his flying kick, causing him to go out of a window, and Nachi is sold into sexual slavery through Renzo Mutaguchi.
