Gianluigi Braschi (né en 1963 à Cesena, dans la province de Forlì-Cesena, en Émilie-Romagne et mort le 23 octobre 2008 à Milan, en Lombardie (Italie), est un producteur italien.
Braschi apprend le métier en devenant assistant de production pour Johnny Stecchino, film de Benigni produit par Mario Cecchi Gori et son fils. En 1994, Benigni, Nicoletta et son frère Gianluigi Braschi ont créé Melampo, société familiale de production destinée à financer les films de Roberto Benigni. Cette même année, Gianluigi Braschi est coproducteur du film Le Monstre (Il Mostro) qui sera un grand succès public.
En 1997, il coproduit La vie est belle (La vita è bella) avec Elda Ferri. Le film obtient plusieurs récompenses, dont l'oscar du meilleur film en langue étrangère, ainsi que plusieurs Prix David di Donatello.
Braschi travaille ensuite sur le film Pinocchio en 2002, puis sur Le Tigre et la Neige (La Tigre e la Neve) en 2005 en collaboration avec Elda Ferri et avec sa sœur Nicoletta.
Gianluigi Braschi meurt à Milan en 2008 à l'âge de 45 ans, des suites d'une longue maladie.

Frère de l'actrice Nicoletta Braschi, beau-frère de Roberto Benigni dont il est un proche collaborateur, Gianluigi Braschi était cofondateur et directeur de la Société de production cinématographique romaine Melampo.Braschi apprend le métier en devenant assistant de production pour Johnny Stecchino, film de Benigni produit par Mario Cecchi Gori et son fils. En 1994, Benigni, Nicoletta et son frère Gianluigi Braschi ont créé Melampo, société familiale de production destinée à financer les films de Roberto Benigni. Rome, March 2003. Attilio de Giovanni (Roberto Benigni), a comical but talented literature professor and the divorced father of two teenage girls, is hopelessly in love with Vittoria (Nicoletta Braschi, Benigni's wife in real life), a writer who is the subject of a recurring dream, featuring a surreal wedding ceremony with poetry verses in the background and the wife suddenly turning into a kangaroo. Attilio's strenuous courtship is unsuccessful, yet he does not lose hope, despite the fact that Vittoria obviously does not share the same feelings. She tells him that she will agree to marry him only when she sees a tiger walking on the snow.

A magical log falls off a wagon and rolls through an Italian town causing considerable damage and some injuries. It comes to rest in front of the house of Geppetto, a poor wood carver who carves a puppet named Pinocchio from it. To Geppetto's surprise, the puppet comes to life and to his dismay, it becomes very mischievous. Geppetto sells his only coat to provide schoolbooks for Pinocchio. In 1939 Italy, Guido Orefice is a young Jewish man who is leaving his old life and going to work in the city where his uncle lives. Guido is comical and sharp, making the best from each situation he encounters. From the start he falls in love with a girl Dora. Later he sees her again in the city where she is a teacher. Dora is set to be engaged to a rich but arrogant man. He is a local government official with whom Guido has run-ins from the beginning. Guido is still in love with Dora and performs many stunts in order to see her. Guido sets up many "coincidental" incidents to show his interest. Finally Dora sees Guido's affection and promise and gives in against her better judgement. He steals her from her engagement party on a horse, humiliating her fiancé and mother. Soon they are married and have a son, Giosuè.
