Conan, having observed possible suspect, pursued the suspect with Masumi Sera joining later. The suspect blown up police patrol cars during the escape and despite FBI's attempt to follow the suspect, the suspect got away. Tokyo Police and FBI later discussed on the possible suspect and discovered that Timothy Hunter is a possible suspect, as the victim is involved with the United States Navy SEALS squadron and the former US military officers in Japan. The suspect uses sniping ability to murder more people in relation to the suspect's past, though Timothy Hunter, the prime suspect, was later found dead and Conan is under the target of assassination when he attempted to stop the murder, only to be intervened by Sera.

The story begins with another daring theft committed by Kaito Kid, with a fabulous diamond as his target - only that Kaito is in this case merely a spectator from the sidelines. Not long after the events of Professor Layton and the Curious Village, archaeologist and puzzle master Professor Layton and his young apprentice Luke Triton reminisce over one of their earliest adventures together from three years ago: Layton is invited by his former student Janice Quatlane to watch her perform in an opera at the Crown Petone opera house, which is built on the White Cliffs of Dover. The performance centers on the legendary lost land of Ambrosia and the secret of eternal life it holds, which will be rediscovered when its queen returns. Janice believes recent strange occurrences are somehow connected to the opera: girls have disappeared from London and the opera's composer, Oswald Whistler, has recently adopted a young girl who has claimed to be his deceased daughter Melina. Whistler plays the entire opera on the Detragon, an elaborate one-man orchestra machine. Once the performance is complete, a mystery man informs the audience that they are to play a game, the winner of which will receive the secret of eternal life.

After losing her mother at a young age, Haruka has treasured the hand mirror she had received from her. As she grew older, she forgot about the mirror and eventually lost it. One day, she decides to go to a local shrine and pray to Inari for the hand mirror to be returned to her. As Haruka sits by the shrine, she drops her house key under the steps. After going to retrieve it, a small fox-like creature runs by, and takes her key, and a toy airplane that had been abandoned earlier. Haruka follows the creature into the woods, but loses it at a large fractured stone. Haruka dips her hand in the small pool of strangely warm water, and is suddenly sucked into the pool, flies out of a river, and lands in a cart with the creature.

The film opens with Nefeltari Vivi flying with Pell in a brief flashback. Returning to the present, Vivi and the Straw Hats meet Crocodile's subordinate Mr. 2 Bon Clay. Mr. 2 shows the Straw Hats his devil fruit ability, which allows him to assume the form and voice of anyone whose face he has touched. Vivi describes a brief history on how the Baroque Works leader Crocodile has used Dance Powder while posing as the country's hero. He has also tricked the rebel and royal armies into fighting each other. Once in Alabasta and after crossing the desert, the Straw Hats find the rebel's base deserted, while the rebel army, led by Vivi's childhood friend Koza, witnesses the port town Nanohana being burned by members of Baroque Works disguised as soldiers of the royal army. The rebels decide to attack Alubarna, where at the same time Mr. 2 impersonates the king, Nefeltari Cobra, and orders the royal army to engage. Meanwhile in the desert, the Straw Hats are intercepted by Crocodile and his partner, Ms. All Sunday. Crocodile aims for Vivi, but Luffy stays behind and distracts him, while the other Straw Hats escape. In the ensuing fight, Crocodile defeats Luffy by impaling him through the chest with his hook and buried alive.

Tired of constantly having nightmares, Nobita ask for Doraemon to bring a Dream Machine which would allow Nobita to dream of anything he wants. After an attempt to have a dream about the fall of Atlantis fails, he chooses a dream where he is in a fantasy world with an inspiration from The Three Musketeers.Doraemon disagrees and gives him a lecture which makes Nobita angry and he runs away from home.Doraemon searches him and promises him to let him watch the dream of The Three Musketeers. Doraemon sends him to the dream. At the start of the dream he meets a fairy who brings him to the attacked city. Enemies start firing at Nobita, only to be saved by the fairy. She cuts off the piece of moon, causing Nobita to blow away. When he gets up he finds himself at the forest and one of the Sherogani swordsman namely Suneo makes him his slave.

The short follows Sachi (Hideko Yoshida/Cheryl Chase), a girl locked in a game of hide-and-seek with her cat Cicerone. Her search leads her to an old longcase clock which doubles as a doorway to a labyrinth world. The world is filled with supernatural oddities and characters, such as cardboard working class citizens, an invisible dog, a skeleton-led train and a weird circus.
