Ivan Freebody Simpson (8 February 1875 – 12 October 1951) was a Scottish film and theatre actor.

Biography

Installé aux États-Unis, Ivan F. Simpson joue au théâtre, à Broadway (New York), de 1905 à 1950, dans de nombreuses pièces.

Au cinéma, il tourne d'abord dix films muets, de 1915 à 1925. Son premier film parlant, en 1929, est Disraeli, un de ses plus connus, aux côtés de George Arliss dans le rôle-titre. Au total, il apparaît dans cent films américains, le dernier en 1948.

À la télévision, Ivan F. Simpson participe à cinq séries dédiées au théâtre, en 1950 et 1951, année de sa mort.

This time around, Abner Peabody, proud owner of the Jot 'Em Down general store in Pine Ridge, Arkansas, inherits railroad stock from his Uncle Ernest.
